Due to limited kitchen space and small entryway, my choices were limited. It's not a quiet unit even without the ice maker. Prior to purchase, I consulted via chat and was told the ice maker was included with purchase. Turns out, it was not the case. However, it functions as a fridge is supposed to and I will be content for now.

Product is more spacious then it looks. Depth of unit adds to the storage capacity.

Good fridge but is a little loud. But like it overall

Even though it took Best Buy 1 month to get frig, it was a good investment so far.

Before the Amana we had a 24 ft3 GE with French Doors, a much more expensive refrigerator. I feared this refrigerator, having ~18-19 ft3 would sacrifice space, but not so. It is just as the other reviews pointed out, it actually seems quite spacious, in fact it seems more spacious than the larger GE!! We bought this unit because of price and only saw it online. It actually looks nicer in our kitchen than I expected, it is not fancy but it really looks more elegant than expected in real life, it fits fine into the other units larger footprint so to speak, and to my eye looks even better than the older one (my point is, we have a high end looking kitchen and even though this refrigerator is not so expensive, it would look fine in any kitchen I think). In a previous house I had another far more expensive refrigerator with a lower freezer that was just a drawer. It was awkward. This Amana has a freezer door, not a drawer and inside are very convenient and useful shelves. I was frankly totally surprised by how nice this unit looks and how nicely laid out it is inside. We also really like that it does not have ice and water dispensers on the front, these things are just features waiting to break and cause problems, and add cost without much benefit! We did buy a warranty for 5 years, seems like a refrigerator should last at least ten and be warrantied automatically for at least 5, so that's my only negative comment, but I guess that's how the industry helps keep costs lower for those wanting to spend less and willing to risk possible repair costs. At any rate, this is a very nice refrigerator that perfectly suits the needs of our three person household, and we are very happy to have it as part of our daily lives!

The refrigerator was purchased for a home I am selling, so I am not actually using it. It is a very nice looking refrigerator.

Only thing I would change would be to have another small drawer for lunch meat

I love it it's very nice my son call it a rose Royce cause it opens from the opposite side.

Easy, quick, great communication, professional delivery and install

Purchased this in June and it was delivered without Freon or dead on arrival. Hours of calls being transferred from one person to another without a resolution. Called Amana and that was a colossal joke! They sent a repair person out to "fix" a new refrigerator but he did not have the parts to do so. Returned the refrigerator and purchased an import from a local dealer. Today, just over two months later I got my money back but only by going to the credit card company. This refrigerator was a big mistake and Best Buy was even bigger mistake.

Love the bottom freezer. I'm just disappointed it took a month to get it.

Good space layout, reasonably accessible bottom freezer, but the circulator fan has a notable 'growl' to it that began after only weeks in service.

When opening and closing the Frig rolls back and forth

This refrigerator I bought new it only lasted 1month and 15 days and i tried to contact service doesn’t answer sucks

We are very limited on space and it's just my husband and I so this Is perfect for us. I love not having to get on my knees to reach something in the back, bottom shelf of the fridge!

My old fridge was on the fritz so I decided to get this Amana because of the limited space I had and the bottom freezer. Im 6'3" and most units have the freezer on top, so I am practically standing on my head to get something out of the fridge part. This unit is average. I have a couple issues with it. 1- the freezer door often doesn't shut all the way. I cannot figure out why. The seals look good and nothing is blocking it. I usually notice its cracked open when the condensation starts hitting the compressor and burning off. 2- the freezer lightbulb has burned out twice in the last year. 3- DO NOT put magnets on the door. I have swaths of rust where the magnets were. I called Amana to ask them why a stainless steel door rusts and they said it was dirty and to clean it. Really? Its dirty? no. I sent them photos and they sent me a green can (broken in shipment) of appliance cleaner which did absolutely nothing. If you plan on a kitchen re-vamp and making the fridge the center piece, id look at another unit.

This refrigerator works in a small spot. It has a decent amount of storage in the refrigerator portion, but the freezer storage is terrible and we don't even have an ice maker. The freezer is very hard to access items, especially if you have a bad back or knees.

I purchased this Amana refrigerator in May of 2018. In early January of 2019, I started having issues with the refrigerator. I called customer service to schedule a warranty service call. After three service calls, the company chosen by Amana to repair the refrigerator has not fixed the issue. I question the quality of this refrigerator and the reliability of the service providers hired by Amana to handle service calls during the warranty period.
