It was a floor model so it might be expected that some parts were missing (Interior shelves).BB agreed to split the cost. That helped.

Went to Best Buy to replace our old broken fridge. Took about an hour to pick one out. Many things to consider. This Amana had a nice price $899 and was large and roomy. I was hesitant to get another fridge with an ice maker bc the line broke on our old one. But decided to get it anyway. Because this fridge was so large I was afraid it wasn't going to fit, but it did barely. Whew. After having it a month or so, its great keeping things cold, and the only complaint I have about it, is it makes its presence known. Quite noisy. The ice maker when its making ice is very loud, and the fridge rattles & knocks most of the time. It doesn't bother me, but some it may. I like its large and roomy. If I had to do it over, I would still buy this one. Really love it. Sans the noise. Oh also I bought the extended warranty bc the clerk said it was BB's first edition of this fridge, and first editions typically have bugs to work out. But so far so good.

Ahhh, the search for the "Perfect Fridge"... We thought this one would be close, and it does have some great features, but it still falls short in some areas. Pros: Lots of space, adjustable shelving options are awesome, ice production is amazing (first icemaker in a fridge that can keep up with my large family), right-door option to open without shelving, etc. Cons: Lower tray requires both doors to be opened to access, left door shelving is narrow and almost useless, etc. Overall it is one of the better fridge's we have owned, but we are still searching for the "Perfect Model"...

This is certainly not the top of the line, but it is pretty great for the price. The ice maker is very loud (so if you're jumpy, like me, be prepared) and it can take a while to fill up the ice bin again once you've used it. The ice also kind a goes everywhere when you go to use it, but not unmanageable.

The refrigerator is okay - nothing fancy. Easy to use, but the ice maker tends to randomly spew out ice cubes once in a while. I like the smooth finish and the clean, modern look.

Overall, this is a great refrigerator. Stainless steel looks great and the refrigerator works well. I owned the same refrigerator in white, but the model was about 2 years older. My only complaint is this fridge has 1 less shelf than the older model because of the positioning of the ice maker. Not having that shelf leaves a lot of unused space or you're forced to pile things on top of one another just to have enough space due to the large gap that it creates between the top shelf and the ice maker. Tried to order a replacement shelf from Amana, but they've sent a shelf that doesn't fit this fridge twice.

We were looking for an analog refrigerator of this size after having so much of trouble with unknown leakage of our digital GE Profile side by side after 100 times of sickening and time consuming services under warranty and more than 130 calls that never got fixed, and this refrigerator fit the bill/size. We were keeping an eye on this model but could never see it in person in any store. After finally in best buy we could find and comparison with few other refrigerators when going back to measure the size in our kitchen to see it would really fit into our built in cabinet and coming back to store to buy and see how to arrange the shipping it got sold out. So we offered to buy the only in store display left with a discounted price as no where around our area they had this model anymore. It has few scratches here and there on the side since it was a store display, but for sure it has saved us from our previous refrigerator nightmare and the price we paid was really good for what we've got. The only complaint so far is that the drawers and shelves are thinner and flimsier so have to be gentle as of usage, and since the door capacity is really good and holds a lot on it, the door gets heavy and opens suddenly wider than expected which we should hold it by hand. The ice maker could have been manufactured a bit smoother, and stainless steel quality could have been better. It is in general low quality built refrigerator but boy we are happy to find an analog refrigerator of this size and side by side. We just hope more models of this refrigerator or other brands would continue producing yet analog refrigerators because most of these digital ones are giving problems in no time, either cooling more than they should or leaking or stopping to work. With the price paid for other refrigerators it is ridiculous to have to replace the refrigerator so soon in no time. We like the refrigerator to have basic functioning but still have ice maker/water dispenser, so this was one of the few models in our size range which was good old analog. We have liked it so far and has been working fine for us.

This fridge has lots of storage space. Perfect for a family. The water & ice features are great. The only reason I was not able to keep it is because I misjudged the space available in my kitchen. I did like the freezer. Plenty if selves. The ice maker is a little loud but once it's done, you don't hear the fridge.

This refrigerator was one of the most inexpensive at the store yet it works fantastically! The ice can be cubed or crushed. It has never run out of ice on me but sometimes it does splatter ice if I don't use a cup with a large enough opening. I just try to be careful now. Don't listen to the reviews that says it is loud. The ice-maker does not make a peep! It was a perfect fit into my 36-inch wide space. The delivery guys were friendly and service was prompt. Overall, great buy

I've had this for just over 3 months now and no problems with anything. I bought it as a replacement for an older fridge with water and ice dispenser in the door. This one uses less electric, has a switched light for door dispenser and the door dispenser can be shut off. Even if you try to get water or ice nothing will come out if it's off. Great if you have kids. Good buy for the price and I like it better than I thought I would.

Needed a fridge in a pinch, Best Buy got this to us in 5 days and hauled away our non-functioning fridge. Comes with a water filter and even a sensor letting you know when to change the water filter. The water and ice dispenser are nice, but the ice chute seems to bash up the ice even if you don't want it crushed, which leads to little bits of ice that fly out and miss your cup. The ice cubes themselves are very nice little crescent shapes. There is plenty of room in the fridge, and even though there is not a small meat and cheese drawer, everything is easy to find even when it's fully stocked. The freezer also has a lot of room.

We LOVE our new Amana full sized, 25.4 cubic ft, side-by-side freezer-refrigerator. This replaced a 19 year old tired one that finally gave out. Interesting that the newer models are about 4 inches taller than the old. The refrigerator shelving can be re-positioned, the doors have shelves that hold A LOT of condiments, jams, bottles, etc. The 2 keeper-drawers at the bottom are of a wonderful size for vegetables, lunch meats, and other items. The lighting of the interior is super throughout. On the freezer side, there's also movable shelving, plenty of space in the door, and a practical sized ice-box for ice cubes. Options in the door for water, ice cubes, small cubes, light on or off, are great! The price was very reasonable for us on a budget, and we are truly delighted.

This is the best price I could find for a side by side. I actually bought a smaller one (22 cu ft) but it couldn't fit through my kitchen door. This larger unit (25 cu ft) was 1" shallower in depth, was able to fit through my 28" wide door frame. Go figure. After a month of owning, so far so good. I can't comment on the ice maker since I don't have it hooked up. I was a bit skeptical when reading the reviews, but most had complaints about the ice maker. But as just a refrigerator, it great. Lots of space! One thing I was surprised about was the Amana brand is affiliated with better known brands like Maytag and Whirlpool. I found out when I went online to register my refrigerator for warranty. I just hope the quality is the same in the long run. So far I'm very happy.

The refrigerator has a plenty of shelves and bins in both the freezer and refrigerator compartments. With discounts, the price was just right. It runs fairly quiet. The exception is the ice maker which makes a more noise than one would like. Inside and out the refrigerator looks fantastic!

The fridge replaced a 15 year old top of the line Kenmore, and besides missing fancy ice-making optics, they are extremely comparable. I would like an extra "meat" drawer inside the fridge, and the ice maker is a bit cumbersome, but I'm really just splitting hairs at this point. Great fridge especially for the money.

The fridge is very nice, especially for the $900 we spent on it. It could use an extra shelf in both freezer and fridge, along with a deli drawer in fridge. Everything else is fairly nice, it could also use a digital thermometer to let you know what the temp inside freezer and fridge is, overall though, it appears to run efficiently and makes ice very fast, filtered water is very nice as well. Would definitely recommend Amana products.

This refrigerator is okay for the money. The stainless steel finish shows every single fingerprint and they don't wipe off easily. The crisper drawers are fragile and the icemaker doesn't make many ice cubes at a time. All that being said, this is about the most reasonably priced stainless steel finish refrigerator you can find. Also it looks nice (If you can keep the fingerprints off of it. We wrapped a paper towel around each handle to keep prints off.) The refrigerator also does keep items cool in the fridge part and well frozen on the freezer side. Decent amount of space too.

Was able to get an open box deal on this, so the price was amazing, but lots of room, great features, would buy again

I didn't realze how much food I threw out until we received our fridge. It works great and my fruit and veggies really last well over a week which is awesome! I highly recommend this refrigerator.
