I was looking for a low cost washer, which was large enough that I wouldn't have to wash everyday. Does a great job! I wash using, most of the time, cold or cool water. For me a BIG PLUS is tyou can stop the wash cycle at any point thereby allowing you to soak your clothes for 5 mins or 2 days if you like. I often soak my whites in an oxi-bleach for more than 24 hours--that keeps them really white. This is something you CANNOT do with the top-end front-loaded washers.

We have liked having this washer it was at a good price, its quiet, and easy to use the buttons on it are not hard to figure out.

Geek squad delivered it for free and set it up. They took away our old washer for free and were very kind and professional. The first thing i noticed was that the large load setting used as much water as the small load setting did on the old washer. The clothes were cleaner than the previous unit as well. Our old washer stopped working and we had to get a new one asap. It was a great price and im very pleased! We also purchased the protection on it because of all the benefits if we ever found ourselves in a situation like that again! I could not be happier!

I love this washer. I had the high end high efficiency washer before and was sooo tired of the cleaning etc to keep the clothes from smelling stale after being washed. So I decided to buy a regular cheap washer. Wow what a difference. Clothes smell so fresh out of this washer. I am willing to use more water for great smelling clothing. This is a great value machine and so simple to use.

Our previous washer was a front load, and I was never pleased with it. When it finally quit working, I wanted to go back to a basic top load machine. We found this one, and I have been very pleased. It cleans the clothes very well, and it doesn't get unbalanced. As long as you put the clothes spaced equally around the machine, you'll have no balance problems. It is not overly loud, and I couldn't be more pleased. It is exactly what I wanted.

This washer is so much better than what I already had! Quiet and works great.

I feel That I got a good value for my money. This is easy to operate and gets my clothes clean. Has great capacity for my blankets and quilts. I am very happy with this machine.

For the money spent it gets the job done. I am a recent college grad so I don't need all the bells and whistles that some washers offer. It is a good size and washes quietly.

I bought this washer and its matching dryer for my adult sons and they both report that it works perfectly. Because of where it had to be installed, the delivery people couldn't do the installation but my sons had no problem doing the installation themselves and they are not experienced in this field. I would buy this washer for myself should the need arise.

I had a HE washer for the past two years I hated. Searched for just a simple, regular, no bells and whistles washer and found this one. I love it.

Replaced a 25 year old washer. The new washer is quieter, gets my clothes cleaner and has many more washing options.

For the price in comparison to other similar units, it works amazingly. while the size seems to show a slightly smaller washer, the washer holds plenty for the maximum size load. Even with the large load, stuffing the washer still brings out the clothes just as clean as a smaller load.

It is a good washer I just have to get used to the difference in my new washer from the one I had before. But overall it is a good washer for the price.

This is the first time I have ever had to buy an appliance and being on a budget this was a wonderful washer! You HAVE to read the manual before washing. I thought the washer was broken because my clothes were not coming out very clean but I found that I had it on a cycle that was meant for lightly soiled easy to clean items like sheets not actual dirty clothes. I am extremley satisfied and just in case I even bought the protection plan so I can sleep better at night knowing that if I encounter any problems I dont have to worry! Great for a first timer affordable and gets the job done!!!

Good value for a nice machine. Holds enough so we don't have to do many loads in one day.

This is a great little washing machine. I have a household of 2 so did not need anything huge or fancy. I love the way my clothes come out after every wash but I do get frustrated from time to time trying to unlock the lid. If you are used to washing loads for a large household or comforters and quilts for queen and king beds, then you might not want to purchase this model. Otherwise, it's perfect!

Washer does a good job of getting the clothes clean in a reasonable amount of time. It does not have a lot of the fancy gadgets on it but for me it has plenty of cycles. Plus it works unlike the Maytag HE that it replaced after only a year of usage because it couldn't clean anything. I would recommend this Amana washer over a high cost Maytag any day and the price was right.

I like the set and go, all the features the Amana top load washer has they are easy and simple to read and set. The machine is very quite as well

I just bought a forclosed home that had no applicances except a washer and dryer. Of course within the first month the washer broke. I needed just a basic washer to get me by. This washer was a great deal. It is the cheapest one you can purchase, but the quality has been great. So far my clothes have come out clean and smelling great. The only draw back I see with this washer is that it doesn't have a lot of cycle options. There is no sanitary cycle, which I quite like using on sheets. You can set the water temperature to high, which is great.
