Moving to New York City from Atlanta in March 2020, I was completely unprepared for the suffocating June heat. I tried every fan imaginable, but nothing provided relief. Desperate, I purchased an Amana AC unit on July 22, 2020, and I'm still using it as I write this review. This is, without a doubt, the absolute best air conditioner I've ever owned! In the five years I've had it, I've only washed the filters a few times. I've experienced no outages, no service calls, and no cooling issues whatsoever. This unit is still blowing air as cold as the day I bought it. I know this review is coming 5 years later, but I felt it was important to share my experience. If you're looking for a reliable AC unit, this Amana model is one of the best investments you can make. I don't regret a single one of the $450 I spent!

Never thought I would need an air conditioner living by the beach in CA but I am certainly grateful for this gem. It exceeded all my cooling and dehumidifying expectations, while blending nicely with my decor. Very easy to use.

I bought this A/C back in February 2019 in an attempt to save money before the summer broke. I hooked it and it worked but now that it's actually hot I went to use it and it doesn't blow cool air as it should. I didn't purchase geek squad so when I called Best Buy in Torrance they turned me away and said call Amana after hanging up on me 3 times prior... thanx Best Buy Torrance and Amana
