Great value for the money. Good basic dryer with plenty of space. Wrinkle guard works well.

Our old dryer died & finances were a bit tight. This one is actually a step up from our old one and we love it. Not a ton of bells and whistles but those are usually what break down. It dries you clothes well. Love the large drum and it was a snap to set up. We saved the cord from our old one which was an Amana too.

I purchased this alongside the matching washer, both great economical products that get the job done. It dries well and is very easy to use.

This is a great dryer! Has all the basic settings, plus a few extra!! Perfect for single family regular use!!

The dryer is great, I love that it has dryness sensors, and that you can select the heat setting independently of the other settings. It works well, and has enough room for a comforter which is a big plus. However, the free installation stinks. First, although they do tell you you need a dryer kit, they don't tell you that it must be a best-buy dryer kit, or else the delivery guys aren't responsible for screwing up the installation. I only found this out after talking with customer service after they botched the job. The guys show up, and don't speak english. Well, that's OK, not everyone speaks english, and it's not a problem if they know their business. I showed them the location and I showed them the kit that I had purchased (you have to have your own plug and vent kit for a dryer). The guy looked a little worried, and I said is everything OK? he says ci, ci, and they proceed to move in the equipment. Everything's fine and they go on their way, but they give me some extra parts from the vent kit that they didn't need (which I thought, oh maybe the dryer came with some of it's own). A week later, I'm doing laundry, and the entire top floor of my house fills with steam, a lot of steam, more than you might find in a sauna. Some investigation, and it appears to be coming from the dryer vent. I pulled the dryer away from the wall, and lo and behold, they hadn't connected the vent kit on both ends. They had merely slapped the vent tube on it and figured I wouldn't notice. After some annoyance and struggle and crawling around behind the machine, I got the vent correctly attached at both ends using the "leftover" parts from the vent kit. When I contact customer service, they say I should've used only a best buy dryer kit. That is redonc because a dryer kit is a dryer kit, and the mere fact that I was able to successfully install it with the leftover parts indicates that it is fine. Besides, nothing online says it has to be a best buy kit, and when I called to confirm the delivery, they told me that any dryer vent kit would work. So, WTF, Best Buy, WTF? But the dryer is still a good product for a good price. Just make sure you check the installation before the guys leave.
