The amaze Bip is the perfect watch for someone who wants more capabilities than a Fitbit, but doesn’t want or need to spend money on a Apple Watch. The watch is easy to navigate through, and looks sleek and simple. My favorite part about the watch is that it is light weight, not bulky, and very comfortable to wear! I couldn’t typically sleep with my Fitbit on at night, but the amaze bip doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing it! The watch allows you to get notifications not just from texts and calls, but emails, Snapchat, WhatsApp, and others. Additionally, the watch has the ability to tell you the weather for that day and the week! The gps capability is cool to have for runners, but I will say it is a little bit off for the distance compared to my other running apps.
The app that comes with the watch is called mi fit and is simple to navigate through to set up the watch right away. It did take a few days for my notifications to start working on the watch after first connecting.

Pros:
Vibration
Very Long Battery Life
Custom Watchfaces with AmazTools App
The strap is very flexible and comfortable
Able to send all notifications to watch
Cons:
No way to control music natively
The backlight does not automatically turn on when you raise your watch
The charger was a little difficult to use for the first time. You need to snap the watch into the dock which wasn't very obvious at first.

Very light weight watch, super comfortable and slim. Great for your daily steps and all the notifications of apps that can be on it! You can choose which apps you want notifications to be sent to the watch so it’s super easy to customize to make it your perfect fit. The weather app is very convenient. The battery life on this thing is insane! Lasts so long, I didn’t charge mine for over 3 weeks.

I purchased this smartwatch as my first real smart watch. I have had fitness watches before but what I love about the AMAZFIT smart watch is that while it has all the standard fitness features, it also links to my apple phone and sends me alerts to all incoming phone calls, text messages and other alerts that you can easily set-up in the app. The sleek design and adjustable wrist band are perfect as I have a smaller wrist. I love this smartwatch and was happy to not have to fork over the hefty price for some of the other smart watches.

I put off getting a fit bit because I figured the novelty would wear off and my phone did the same and usually have my phone with me. My techie kids talked me into it and I’m so glad they did! Best feature, battery life so I can track sleep patterns rather than charge at night! I was looking for a bigger “user manual”, then realized it was easy to set up and intuitive to use! The reminder to get up and move during busy days at my desk is fantastic. Heart beat!! The multiple “face” options are great. Highly recommend!

I am surprised how the screen scratched within 3 days of usage. Since it has gorilla glass I never thought of using a screen protector but I was wrong.

The Amazfit Bip crams tremendous functionality and stellar battery life into a lightweight, attractive package. That said, it's really not a smartwatch, more of a fitness watch with limited workout profiles.
The Good:
- Embedded GPS, works very well, very accurate.
- Pulse rate meter accurate, compares well to a finger pulse meter.
- Stellar Battery life, I'm charging once a week just to make sure it gets charged. I could easily go 2-3 weeks without charging. And that is using the GPS for 10-12 hours.
- The workouts supported (cycling, running, walking, treadmill) work well.
- Gorilla glass face, very readable display, touch screen, small, lightweight package.
- Phone notifications and message display
The Not So Good:
- Step count not accurate over a day, arbitrary wrist swings count as a step.
- Very limited workout profiles. Can't use it for stationary bike, weight lifting, swimming, aerobics, etc workout recording.
- Have to delete messages on the watch separate from the phone.
- No mic or speaker, no music storage or Bluetooth audio.
- No NFC/Pay option.
- Android app interface (only tested with Android) is somewhat dated and klunky.
For a sub $100 fitness watch (sub $50 on sale!) it is a great value and a great introduction to the possibilities of fitness watches. An accurate GPS and Gorilla Glass face in a watch of this class is really unheard of. It may not be the most complete fitness solution, but if it fits your needs, I highly recommend it.

Owned the watch for about a month. Put on the heart rate at 30 minutes, battery lasts for about 3 weeks. It buzzes if you walk away from your phone and links back up automatically when you get close, all seamless. The display is great in the sun or push button to light it up. Text come through, and call notification, can setup for other notifications, I don't. It has a GPS, works good, easy to use. There is a new model out that is waterproof, this one is just splash proof I believe. I don't wear it in the shower. Its light, comfortable, small, attractive I am happy with my purchase.

I wasn't sure about having another device to charge at night, but the battery is
better than I expected and only needs to be charged weekly. It's convenient to have the weather, exercise info, heart rate and steps, notifications of calls, texts and emails on it. It also monitors your sleep and provides feedback. I don't even notice I'm
wearing it because it's very comfortable and light. I'm very happy with this purchase and
will never go back to wearing a normal watch again.

This is a very good smart watch; however don't expect all features of higher end (and pricier) smart watches. You will need to download a companion app for your phone to work with this watch.
Here are the pros:
Great battery life - not kidding - if you charge to 100%, it's about 2% drop per day (if you don't use the heart rate monitor).
Has a decent heart rate monitor (not sure how accurate it is though.
Always on screen - back light comes on w/ button pushes or notifications, but will turn off after a few seconds.
Mostly one way communications - your mobile phone to watch. Can't control music for example from watch. Only thing that goes from watch to phone is to cancel/hangup incoming phone calls. Has a built in compass along w/ other basic features (alarms, stop watch, timer, etc).
Only con i have so far and this depends on the person - the band is rubber/plastic and does not allow the skin to breathe through it so you may get a rash. I ended up buying another band to fix this issue.

Step count is not accurate. Sometimes I can walk down a hall and no steps recorded, other times I am driving and it is recording steps. Id say for the price it is decent. It gives me an idea of what my heart rate is and idea of what my steps are looking like for the day. I love the simplicity of it which is one of the reasons I chose this over spending bank on an iwatch or fitbit. I can wash my hands with ease with it on (although not drenching it in water). Also love how it already has some basic watch faces especially the military time- wishing though they had one with military time and seconds that is not clock face. Overall I am satisfied with it for the price I paid and for the basic features But would not recommend for someone who wants an accurate fit tracker. I did try the sleep feauture and thought it was neat. The times I have tried it - it seemed fairly accurate in terms of how i felt the next day comparing to how it stated i slept. Biggest plus is the battery!! I still have not charged it since I received it and I have slightly leas than half battery!

This watch does all I was hoping it would do -- track my runs by GPS, record heart rate and steps, etc -- and more (though I have yet to fully explore all its functions). And the battery life lasts a long time. I'd say just as good as a fitbit or garmin, but for much cheaper. Definitely recommend.

Great if you're looking for a pedometer with notifications, amazing battery life, and not too much more. Lightweight. Replaced the silicone band with a millanese one and it's a lot more comfortable to wear. Charging for the first time 16 days after receiving it, with approx 80% out of the box. That's with constantly changing the watch face to find one that I like, and always having notifications on. The only downside is that a lot of the watch faces are lackluster, or only available in 24h format instead of 12h, and you have to use 3rd party apps to get more than about a dozen options. Got one for my spouse to replace a Pebble that was showing its age and not supported, and seems to be an adequate replacement.

Before I bought this which I viewed many other SmartWatches on the market. And while others smart watches may have better functionalities, but always coming at a higher cost. This watch for the price gives you not only an excellent battery life almost lasting an entire month, Some of the health features that it has like a heart rate sensor a GPS tracker and accelerometer make up for its lack of workout and health features. I would recommend this watch for someone who is on a tighter budget who is sick of charging their watch every night, and doesn't mind losing a few health features are on the way overall an amazing watch for the price

Great value for the price. Very comfortable to wear, lightweight and hardly noticeable. Battery life is great, goes many days before a charge is needed. Functionality is descent but could be improved. Menu and how to get to different functions is not very crisp, Accuracy is a bit off eg; walked the same route several times and reported distance was +/- a couple of tenths of miles. Overall good watch

This watch is sleek is lightweight. The band is easily cleaned and fits a variety of wrist sizes (from youth to adult!) The battery lasts a really long time and we haven’t had to charge it so far– which is really convenient. We got the one with military green on it but the contrast is very minimal from the black band so it’s not as bold as I expected; not bad but definitely more subtle. For the price especially, it’s been a really great introduction to the world of smart watches for both fitness goals and general time management.

I got this as a Daily Deal at a good price and I am very satisfied. It does everything that I want without the huge expense of an Apple watch. Since it is not so expensive, I don't have to worry about it being on my wrist and being damaged or misplaced. The number of steps seems accurate and it records hours slept including breaking it down into deep sleep versus light sleep. The battery maintains a charge for days and days. Like a lot of tech these days, the instructions that come with it are sparse so you have to play around with it or go online to learn all of the features which I haven't used yet. It has a compass which seems accurate. To set up the compass, you need a fairly large space to walk in a figure 8 several times for it to get its bearings.

I've had a Fitbit for the past few years and decided to upgrade to this smartwatch. Love that it's compatible with my iphone allowing me to receive subtle notifications throughout the day - super convenient. Most importantly it's comfortable to wear all day and all night which was a necessity for me as I want to use this to track the quality of my sleep. If you're looking for a reliable and comfortable smartwatch at a reasonable price, i'd recommend this one!
