This is coming from someone who didn't like The Amazing Spider-Man. The second one is extremely underrated. Which I don't understand because people seemed to like the first one a bit too much for how poorly done it was. On top of the movie itself actually being good this time, the 3D is also phenomenal. Some of the best use of 3D that I've seen. At $20, I thought this movie was a fine deal.

This is one of those movies that's very divisive. You either love it or you hate it. I fall in the former category. I actually like this series quite a bit. I think Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are a wonderful couple. I also think Garfield is a far better actor than Tobey Mcguire so his version of Peter Parker feels more authentic and sincere. Emma Stone maintains her usual charm as well.

Better than I expected - especially in 3D. For fans of the Sam Raimi series, there won't be any way to improve on the second in the franchise. However, this movie is fun to watch and Jamie Foxx gives a poignant performance. Unfortunately, the Rhino scene is too short, and didn't fit very well in the movie. That is, unless ASM3 picks up right where this one leaves off. Then it's worth the wait.

I recently brought this 3D Blu Ray Movie & I have no regards at all... The value was incredible in addition too the clarity and graphics of this 3D Blu Ray Dvd... The only other thing that can "top this" value is BestBuy's "Upgrade & Save" if/whenever they bring it back... I am totally pleased and satisfied with my purchase whereas I'm going to tell a lot of mine family, friends & business associates about it too...

Yeah, this movie isn't perfect. They try and cram a few too many villains in (ala Raimi Spider-man 3) and it can be a bit overly emotional at times. There are enough positives in my opinion to make this a great movie. And a lot of stuff involving the antagonists was just build up for a Sinister Six movie which I am super hyped about. Overall, worth the twenty or so dollars I paid for it.

I really am enjoying this series. They are following the comic books more closely and with the technology today the CG I doesn't look cheesy on my Samsung 3D TV. I heard some complaints from friends, family, and co-workers that there wasn't enough action. I had to explain to them that this was correct for the comic books because Gwen Stacey does die while Spider Man try's to save her. In Spider Man 3 I'm sure we will meet the new Mary Jane.

you realize that you're asking me to review a movie and not any kind of product, like a computer, tablet, smartphone-technology products. because your examples are very different than reviewing a movie. i enjoyed the movie very much until the girl died at the end. because of that, if they make a 3rd movie, i won't be buying it, renting it, or viewing it any other way it could be seen.

Here we are another Spider-man. This is now the 5th solo movie. 2nd in a reboot. The movie was alot of fun, but it had to much set-up feel to it. Had the whole Iron Man 2 vibe and i think it hurt this movie. The reboot spidey is not as great to me as the Original Trilogy but at the end of the day I love Spider-man and will always give him a good review. Even if he does not deserve it.

This film was a lot of fun seeing it in theaters, now its even better in my own home on Blu-ray. Love the 4k quality picture and sound! The film was very well put together and had one of my all time favorite villains in it (ELECTRO). Blu-ray special features included some great deleted scenes, a fantastic look inside the score of the film, and more! If you are a Spider-man fan or just a super hero fan, this is a MUST-BUY for your collection!

If you're a Spidy-fan, then this exclusive Best Buy collector's edition is exactly for you. After checking out all the different collector's editions across Amazon.com, Target, & Walmart, this one fit the budget and criteria for being the best package. In fact, the packaging seems cooler than the movie itself! The colorful bonus comic book is also a perk, though it's simply half the story from the movie. Besides my opinion that the villain's weren't fitted to the best cast/actors (and the Gwen-Peter break-up/rehook-up cycle got a bit cheesy and wearisome), the director did a much better job juggling 3 villains in 1 movie than in Spider-Man 3 that starred Tobey Maguire. However, juggling that many antagonists at once felt like it still diluted the opportunity to really flush out any character development and/or depth for each persona. But overall, the story flowed and it left anticipation for more Spidy movies ...hopefully, ones that will take advantage of really delving into backstories to build up the quality of the movie's dynamics between the characters displayed.

I saw this in the theaters and couldn't wait to own it on Blu Ray. Best Buy sweetened the deal by offering it at a discounted price if you purchased any tv title over $15.99. Win win situation. The only thing I would suggest is it get to Best Buy before they run out of the steel back cases, a special offer they do on certain releases. Also, it was really cool that Peter Parker's ringtone was the theme from the original Spider-Man cartoon!

I got the first and second movies at the same time and watched them during the holidays. While the character portrayals lost a little to the distraction of the special effects in the first movie, it became more pronounced in the second. Still, I felt invested enough in the characters to want to see how everything turned out. A good couple movies for weathering a winter storm.

It seems everyone these days are trying to reinvent the wheel. They called this Spiderman 2 however it is not Spiderman 2. It rewrites the entire spiderman history and even kills off one of the main characters. So if anything it should be called a Spiderman Reboot. Story plot (like most movies these days) was weak at best, and in all honesty...although the movie was an OK (and I mean only OK watch) I was not overly impressed. What happened to the days when producers relied on a great story plot to bring the watcher into the movie, and the special effects were a supporting roll in the movie, not the main actors? That's what you will find in this movie (the special effects are the main characters, and the true actors seem to just be supporting roles). For the die hard Spiderman followers I would not recommend this movie unless they just want to see where a possible timeline might have happened for Spiderman. For the movie animator who is looking to see how animation is progressing...there is plenty of footage to look at, and might be a good watch for them.

This is overall a decent movie, better in 3D for sure. My biggest issue with it that aside from Jaime Foxx's character the other boss battles are too easy and lame, especially Rhino at the end. Could have been much better, I think of Tobey McGuires Spiderman 3 where those enemy battles at the end were very hard, this Amazing Spiderman 2 battles were kind of weak like Godzillas.

Decent 3D blu-ray if you're a Spidey fan, but the story is weakest of all of them, and some of the characters are thrown in/wasted, while others are left out and only mentioned (JJ Jameson for example). Better than the first Amazing movie, but that's not saying much. If you're not a Spidey fan, I wouldn't recommend it. If you are, you probably don't care about reviews anyway.

I like Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone as the leads. The movie is about 20-30 min too long but it has great action and of course great foreshadowing of Spiderman's future. (Sinister 6 anyone?) I was disappointed that the Rhino was in it for about 2 minutes total. And there was no Mary Jane reference yet. I'm excited for Spiderman 3! (or 6 depending on your point of reference)

The movie was pretty good overall but overall moments felt a bit rushed through the plot. Some of the deleted scenes help to flesh out things a bit more and could have made for a better film had they been left in. The cast all provided great performances though. The audio and video look great on the blu ray too. The special features provided are good but not too extensive.

I really enjoyed this movie, especially the story line. The cinematography and soundtrack were done well. I generally like special effects and they are done well here, but the first 10 minutes or so were too much. Special effects are great when you can't tell they are special effects. Too much CGI at the beginning. Overall I enjoyed more than the original Spiderman movies.

After watching Spider-Man No Way home I had to get this since this was the only Spider-Man movie I didn't already own. With the storyline tie in to the Mcu now this movie is more watchable. Worth getting to complete the 8 movie Spider-Man collection.

I'm a big Marvel fan, and have loved comics since I was a kid. Amazing Spiderman 2 is a perfect example of how Marvel does everything right compared to DC. For the movie itself the plot twist at the end made sense ... I just couldn't believe they did it! Really enjoyed the entire movie, great onscreen chemistry, great action ... and I can't say it enough ... the ending!
