There is a lot of negative backlash toward this movie....don't understand why. Of course, comic purists are never going to be happy and most movie goers want instant gratification with regard to storylines. This movie sets in motion the whole "sinister six" storyline, the villians may not be great on their own (save for goblin), they can be interesting together...hoping that down the road, they do Venom justice instead of what they showed in ASM3

It’s great to be Spider-Man. For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen. Spidey is back & taking on Electro & Goblin. Peter is trying to balance having a relationship with Gwen, but also trying to respect Gwen's dad's wish to keep her "out of it." Just as that is going on, a new villain, Electro, comes on the scene and also his life long friend Harry returns. Good movie, the fights with Electro are pretty cool, Goblin is underused, unfortunately because there's potential there, but there's always the next movie :).

This is suppose to be the best looking 4K movie because of the 4K digital intermediate. I’ll say it looks good but there is a good bit of noise present. I asked a Best Buy employee and they said it’s the way they filmed the movie. Besides that, the blues from the villian are outstanding and the attention to detail are very solid. Paired with a quality movie and emotional ending...great buy for sure

I've enjoyed all the Spider-Man flicks so far, but this one stood out for a few reasons. Garfield exudes more of what the comic shows of Spidey's personality. He's a sarcastic teenager who antagonizes his villains because he knows he's better, stronger & faster than they are. Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy made everyone step up their superhero game. You can see more reality in the fantasy, and not every rescue goes as planned. Great flick & pretty good features on the Blueray. I really like the metallic case!

I found the story more satisfying than the first in some ways. The first movie did an excellent job of re-introducing the characters more in line with original storyline. This one picks up the development of some of the main opponents that lead to into the eventual sinister six. It also has a plausible backstory about Peter's parents to answer the big "why" question? Peter's self-evaluation is always there, but less of the "Charlie Brown" syndrome that was sometimes a bit much in the previous movie series.

The delicate balance of 3 major villains was handled quite well in this film, giving each one solid development and back stories. If you enjoy the first Amazing Spiderman, you're sure to enjoy this funny, exciting, and heartbreaking sequel. The 4k master transfer to blu-ray is top notch. Gorgeous, eye-popping visual lightning effects and extremely detailed webbing close-ups create an amazing 3d experience. Pop it in and enjoy the ride!

These Blu-Ray, DVD, digital copy combo packs are the way to go and I will rarely purchase a new release any other way. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 combo pack is no exception allowing for ultimate flexibility for where and how to watch this fun movie. The movie itself is an entertaining superhero movie with action, comedy, romance and a twist at the end. While this movie isn't a cinematic masterpiece, it is a fun way to spend a couple of hours

To put it bluntly: if you're a fan of the Marvel superhero movies, you'll probably like this. If not, then you probably won't. I was a fan of the "older" Spider-man movies that starred Toby McGuire (sp?), but I have to say I like Andrew Garfield better in the role. The intro of Electro and the Green Goblin gave the story some interesting dynamics. It's a fun movie and I can't wait to see where the Spider-Man franchise goes next!

Not only do I have the first Amazing Spiderman,(which I got from best buy too), now I have the Amazing Spiderman 2 with the coolest comic book included. I pre-ordered this and it arrived the day it was released for sale. It came in an awesome case with 3d, blu-ray, dvd, digital download, and a well detailed comic book. I couldn't be happier and glad I did !!! This movie is amazing and a must have for superhero fans. 3 separate disc at such a low price. Great job best buy for putting this together.

It's such a good movie and the new metal book thing is pretty cool looking but I wish they just stuck with the steelbooks but still, pretty cool but not as cool as me (haha but for real... This is a review of the product and not the movie: This blu ray is awesome for the collector. Different from the special steelbook cases which we normally see, but awesome nonetheless. As for the movie, it's alright. They really didn't learn from Spider-Man 3. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is like Spider-Man 3. Too many villains in one movie, yet I realized they are setting up for the future of this new Spider-Man movie franchise.

This movie was done pretty well, even though a remake and sequel weren't actually needed. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone played well together as Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, but I think that they went the Spider-Man 3 approach and had too much going on as far as enemies of Spider-Man are concerned. Not too surprising that there is once again a reboot of the Spider-Man franchise coming in the future after this film.

This movie was a perfect marriage of action, and comedy with just a dash of romance (enough to satisfy the story line but not so much as to take over the movie). The 3d affects were nicely done, not the best I've seen (Avatar) but certainly not the worst (Green Lantern). The movie has excellent re -play value, so if you can pick this 3d movie up for no more than $19.99 it'll be a welcome addition to your 3d DVD library!

The first Amazing Spiderman was ffantastic and got great reviews. The second one has received mixed reviews. Some saying there are too many villains, subplots, etc. I really liked it. Yes, there is the main villain, Electro followed by the Goblin and just a tease of Rhino. I actually think it flowed well and did follow the original comic book with the story of Green Goblin and Gwen Stacey. As for the PQ and sound on this blu-ray disc, it's superb. Mastered from 4K. Highly recommended.

I am an early adopter of 4K Blu-ray so there has been little to choose from lately in home media to feed my Samsung 4K player. Luckily for me, this is how 4K is supposed to look! Spidey's suit looks absolutely amazing in 4K! The story is mediocre, but it is what it is. You want eye candy to feed your brand new 4K Blu-ray set up? Grab this at a great price and feast your eyes on stunning clarity!

Boy o boy was I blown away! I watched the first amazing Spiderman and didnt think it was that great. But purchased this 3D version bc of my UHD smasung curved tv to take advantage of its glory. THIS IS THE BEST 3D MOVIE to date! Only 2nd to Gravity. Of course pending some other 3d movies I havent watched yet. The 3D really makes it seem like you are spiderman swinging in New York City during some 1st person moments. Highly recommended for 3d! And the 2d version is in 4K too! Bonus!

Overall I thought the movie was great. The sound and video quality were both excellent and the storyline was good. If you have read the comics you will notice the movie doesn't follow them exactly, but it will still keep you interested. If you haven't read the comics you should thoroughly enjoy The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and will be shocked by the ending. Note: you don't necessarily need to see the first movie understand this one but the first one does show how Spider-Man came to be.

All in all I really enjoyed this movie. The action and story are great and I really like the direction they are taking the story in. My biggest complaint is how it jumps from tone to tone so frequently; this gives it an odd feel from time to time. I would definitely recommend this movie and it would make for a great family night flick!
