This Spider-Man keeps you interested. With the extras that they throw in, if you watch closely there will be a third movie with the sinister six. The one down side to the movie is Electro, his character is good and played very well. Unfortunately the CG effects of his turning into electricity and moving place to place is really bad. I wish Marvel owned the rights to Spider-Man rather than Sony it would have been better.

Recently purchased the 3D Magno case blu-ray for Spidey 2 and I have to say it looks much better in person than on most online photos. Very glossy look however the disc holding style of the case is very lacking and is such that it puts the discs inside at great risk for scratches. The DVD was scratched when I took it out of the case for the first time and I was careful taking it out. Extras are good including commentary

A good Spider-Man movie, but a little slow in some parts and rushed in others. Electronic was well done. Not true to the comics, but a nice spin on it. Not too thrilled with the Goblin. One deleted scene in particular should really have been part of the movie, especially considering how it was set up in the flashback sequences. I do like the spider suit in this movie better than the first one. All in all a fun movie.

This movie is awesome!! I'm a big super hero movie fan and I did like the first three movies (with different actors and producers of course) but these movies and the way the they tell the story is just more like a super hero movie should be!! I think the other 3 dealt more with the relationships and less super hero and these balance both allot better making them more entertaining in my opinion!! And if you have a 3D TV then the 3D effects just make it that much more enjoyable!!

I must admit I am not the world's biggest comic book fan. But I do know some huge comic book and they shared some flaws with me. I mean for me the movie was good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. But like everything there is always going to be people out there who are going to complain and not like something. So if you want to see a in my opinion a pretty good movie check this one out. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Marvel just keeps getting better. It honestly seems with each new sequel they're learning from their mistakes to continue to put out the best movies of the year. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is no exception. The action is awesome as expected but the story really pulls you in as well. I know some people might not like the end or the direction, but as a fan of the comics, it was a huge storyline in The Amazing Spider-Man. They also did a good job setting up the Sinister Six movie.

This review relates to the quality of the 4k picture of Amazing Spiderman 2 moreso than the movie itself... I enjoyed the picture overall but I guess I was expecting slightly better still since this was considered a "true" 4k film..... Great picture still, but it seemed some other "fake" 4k discs I have look even better.... Would still recommend to add to your 4k collection.

My gripes about the film itself put aside, Sony did a fantastic job on this Blu Ray transfer. The color, the detail in texture, the sound, just over all one if the best transfers I've ever seen/experienced. Not to mention the packaging was pretty cool. For blu ray nuts like myself, different packaging, such as this, was pretty cool. Not a huge fan of the images per say, but the build and quality of the packaging was quite sturdy and nice. Impressive all around presentation.

Bought for my 7 year old as he loves all super heroes, but especially Spiderman. The movie looks great on our 4k tv. You get 4k bluray, bluray and a digital copy with this purchase. The digital copies of any movie are great for when we travel and any of us can just watch one on the list but will at home it is nice to have an actual disc that can be brought into any room or to be lent to friends or family since you have 3 copies.

The "comic book" that it comes with it is a waste of paper. The new magno case is awesome. I kind of wish that best buy would have gotten an exclusive steel book to match my amazing spiderman 1 steel book from best buy, but I think it looks sleek and sturdy and I can see why they tried something new. I actually thought this movie was well done, over ambitious because I like closure and as much as I liked the ending to this, I would've loved to see it all go down, Haha.

I bought this after the sale drop for pre order for $24 the steel book case is really cool and a special cover. It came with a best buy exclusive comic book but it was disappointing that's the only downside of the movie it was a free comic book, but it was just a scene for scene of the fight scene with electro and spiderman in times square 10 pages or so. But for the price you can't beat $24 for 3d blu ray.

First of all the movie is pretty good, I know there's plenty of haters that still consider the Sam Raimi films the only worth watching Spiderman flicks, after the first one I thought so too, but this one is not bad it is actually pretty good, just give it a chance. Now, this blu ray edition in the new Magno case is great, in my own opinion these cases are better than the easy to damage Steelbooks. Love them, hope I see a lot more releases in this type of packaging.

The ASM2 is a "mehh" movie. It fails to live up to the previous entries in its own series never mind what Disney is doing with their Marvel Cinematic Universe. But I'm a sucker for Spider-Man, he's just such a nifty character. The Magno case on the other hand is great! If it weren't for Best Buy's exclusive case I would've never bought the movie. I wish Best Buy would do more Magno cases over their "crummy" steelbooks (ie. Captain America: The Winter Soldier).

I'm not horribly critical of movies. I look at it this way: Did I enjoy watching it? Yes. Then, it is a good movie. Are there things that you could nit pick, sure, but if you're that picky you really should find something else to do that you can actually enjoy. Underwater basket weaving, maybe? Seriously, though, I like the new take on the spiderman series, though I would really like to see them get deeper with it instead of just rebooting it every so often.

I watched this with my teenage son and we both enjoyed the movie. My son has no knowledge of the original story from the comics and enjoyed it. I enjoyed this one more than the original Spiderman movie because this retelling was closer to the original story from the comic book upon which it is based. The main characters were portrayed well, the villians would have been better if they were more evil.

I thought that this movie was a good, entertaining sequel to the first Amazing Spider-Man movie. I did like that first movie better but this was good also. It has it's funny lines, it's serious moments, and definitely good action sequences. The effects were great as well. I could definitely recommend this movie for the action movie buff and it is kid friendly too. My 6 and 11 year old sons loved it.

If your a fan of comics then this follows the original plot, and gives the Spiderman series of movies what fans of Spiderman have known. I really enjoyed this version better since I am of fan of Spiderman. Sally Field's really gives a good performance, still shows she's got it. Andrew Garfield did a good job, Emma Stone awesome. Jamie Foxx kind of a stooge in the beginning but definitely improved towards the end. Would buy again!!! Did for my granddaughter.

I recently bought the Best Buy exclusive Amazing Spiderman 2 on 3D Blu-Ray in the steelbook casing. The case itself is pretty cool because it closes using magnetic technology. The case is also a wraparound cover of Spidey vs. Electro and stands out nicely in any movie display at home. Of course, the movie itself is very good and the Blu-ray offers a lot of extras, such as deleted scenes not show in theaters. It is a MUST HAVE for any diehard Spiderman fan!

The movie experience is great - 3D viewing and acoustically this is done well. As far as the acting/plot... the characters are almost too cartoonish in the beginning, but if you can get past it, things get better. The plot is interesting, as it covers and enhances previous installments but also makes a few twists that require deeper knowledge of the series. Overall, I'll watch it multiple times.
