Love this tablet, it's size, weight and easy to use. Comes loaded with several good apps.

I was skeptical because the Fire 7 and 8 were both too slow for most games, but I bought this on sale and it is worth full retail by far. Amazon knocked it out of the park with this one. Plenty of storage for books and apps, lightning fast speed, and all of the features you need in a good tablet. A great value even at full price.

I was looking for something inexpensive that my daughter (5th grade) could use to do her online school work. It was replacement for her other tablet. The screen on this tablet is a good size, easy on the eyes as it auto adjust to the brightness of the room, great parental controls, and not lacking in speed at all. It has its internet link, which at first I was a little skeptical about as Im use to Chrome. But needless to say I actually like it. apps are more organized and easy to find. I think this tablet is great. Especially for the price.

There’s so much to enjoy here. The front camera has been vastly improved, and battery life is now a claimed 12 hours. Also 30% faster processing promised by that octa-core, the USB-C port is perhaps the most significant of these upgrades. Which means a full charge now takes three hours instead of four. It’s snappier, better-equipped and, to top it off the Amazon Fire HD 10 is an excellent budget tablet.

it's light weight, the picture quality is amazing, and great parental control the a great price.

Replaced a 3 year old 8" Fire Tablet whose battery was not holding a charge nearly as long as originally. New 10" Fire has a longer battery life, seems to charge faster, and has a snappier CPU response. A bit easier to manage files on SD card via apps. Sound is clearer and doesn't run down battery nearly as fast. Display is sharp and ebooks last longer between charges. Good buy.

A great black Friday purchase. Price was on point for what we needed it for. Beautiful large screen and with everything the typical Kindle does and has as far as apps, it was all very easy to see. A very nice product! With that said, we unfortunately had to return it for the one reason we needed it for. To use with Google Hangouts. We had some technicians try to set it up for us but it didn't work. At least not easily for us. Maybe user error? But nonetheless, too difficult for us non techies. Oh well...back to Android.

Screen size just right. Fast. Only negative is ads put ups everytime you turn it on.

Great product. We have always been apple people so we are still trying to get used to the way this works and the apps available. It is not as user friendly as the iPads, especially for kids. However, for the price point it’s fantastic. It is speedy, good size and has a great clear image.

Fantastic price for this tablet. Went through two samsung tablets both too expensive to repair and both had stopped working the first 2 yrs of minimal use. This amazon tablet is amazing to use with the Alexa feature. Outstanding sound with movies and music. Definitely recommend.

I own a 7" Fire HD tablet with less GB than this one. It was purchased from Amazon. I have not had any problems using it for over five years. When I saw this one on sale, for about the same price I paid for the 7" I was knew getting a steal. I am very happy with my purchase so far.

I am pleased with this device. For the price, it's one of the best value tablets you will currently find on the market. With it's nice big bright screen and snappy version of Android (9), I would rate this as a great product. The only con would be the battery. Being a hardware technician I properly calibrated the battery in order to maximize the lifespan. However, I have noticed that sometimes (particularly when it's not being used) the battery will discharge pretty rapidly, and then other times it will discharge normally at a much slower pace which is quite odd. If you're looking for a tablet intended for simple internet browsing and reading books and comics, then this tablet is for you. If you are looking for a tablet for more of a media-intense experience or playing games, you may want to spend some extra cash on an iPad or Samsung Galaxy Tab; all due to the battery capacity. Speaking of the battery, this tablet has the 15w fast charging feature via its USB-Type C port and you can upgrade/add storage with a micro SDHC card: just be sure to get one of the more recent cards in terms of speed because you'll need it. This tablet will warn of slower data transmission speeds with the older class 10 cards. Amazon has made a decent upgrade from the previous generation of the Fire. If it wasn't for the strange battery issue, I would have easily rated it 5 stars.
