Everyone at my house is getting so used to Alexa that’s got this one for one of the rooms in the house, it’s affordable, small and gives out a decent sound.

Echo Dot is awesome. Easy to setup and fun to use.

Bought it on Black Friday and I have been trying it for over a week. So far so good. I would recommend it.

Love this device- especially when you connect to a bluetooth speaker. Kids love calling it to play all their music. Great use as an alarm clock and calendar too. Bonus free shipping through Amazon Prime too!

Great device, I now have 3 and they are fantastic.

This is a great addition to my Echo and another Dot ... we have the dots around the house and have become very friendly with "Sarah" !!! She has a wealth of knowledge and is very quick to respond to inquiries, including local weather, sports scores and schedules, history, any many other inquiries. Love the addition!!!

DOES HAVE SMALL BUILT IN SPEAKER + BLUE TOOTH COMP

I can hook my echo dot to a blue tooth speaker I already own and the music sounds great, which is the best way to use it. I get my news and weather each morning and then listen to music while I am in the shower.

Would recommend this to anyone. Was easy to set up

I added this to my sound bar in living room via Bluetooth and now we can enjoy our music with all the volume we want. It’s a fun add on to our echo we have in the kitchen. Making a group with the two allows for music to be in multiple places. Also enjoy the ability to “drop in” and talk to the family if I’m not home.

I own 2 and bought this one and another for my mother who is in her 80's so she can primarily use it to create shopping lists that will load automatically to the iPhone I gave her. Doing it manually is too hard for her and the autocorrect drives her crazy. Giving to her xmas but I know it will be a timesaver for her.

No issues...Note the sund quality is rather plan not like the Echo, but works. Be sure to update every so often. Just unplug the power cord wait 30 seconds plug the cord back in, if there is a update the unit will up date automatically. Over all it’s great product. You will be required to have a Prime account to use.

Love the Echo Dot. It finds and plays songs from any artist as I ask. It wakes me up and gives me the present temperature as well as the days forecast. I am still just at the tip of the iceberg of all it can do.

Bought it when it was on sale over the Holidays. Doesn't sound as good as the full size echo but considering it's size it does sound great. All of the same functions as the full size echo for way less.

Wife got me the Echo for Xmas last year. Purchased this for my bedside. Works the same, easy, convenient.

Kids have them in their rooms. Great for homework questions, playing music and games and setting timers.

Like how Amazon keeps adding more functionality to their Echo devices and integration smart home devices.

So far, I am enjoying my Alexa echo dot. Not only for the ability to play music, but also to have a virtual assistant to tell me the weather when I get up, provide news summaries, instantly set timers and alarms, etc. I am still figuring out all the ways I can use my assistant. All I have to do is ask Alexa.

Got one for myself and ended up getting 1 for my parents for their anniversary and 2 to give as gifts to my brother and Aunt and Uncle for Christmas. My brother and his wife have become dependent on their echo dot for reminding them about appointments, cooking timers and making sure the kids start their homework on time (the kids obviously hate it). My parents love theirs so much they went and bought the echo for downstairs and moved the echo dot up to their bedroom. If you're unsure about smart home get the echo dot. However if you are all in get both the echo dot for your bedroom and echo for communal areas as the difference in speakers alone is mind blowing and worth the extra money.
