I love my echo dot. I just got into Alexa this year so I never had the hockey puck echo dot. I love the design of this device, it looks very nice. While this can be used for good music playback, it is not as good as a Bluetooth speaker. I Always use my speaker for music instead of the echo dot. This device is perfect for light music playback and all of the features of Alexa. Full disclosure, I love the echo flex more than the dot, but the dot is a great product.

I'm old school and was just looking for an old fashioned am-fm radio...I was advised that Alexa would play all the local stations here in Miami..soni purchased her and was amazed that she was able to play all the local stations plus allnradio stations from around the country...she also plays many genres of music..just ask her and it's done. I asked Alexa to read the Gettysburg Address and she did it in her own voice. Alexa is perfect...if she was human i"d marry her.

Best of the various Echo devices I have tried so far. Loud, clear, music sounds really good for such a small device.

I really like the Echo Dot. It was very easy to set up and easy to use. The speakers are clear and static free.

Works just like the dot 3. This one has better speakers. You just need to get used to the round shape. The light at the bottom is not as good as the dot 3. The biggest issue is the white cord. The cord on the dot 3 is black. Not really interchangeable due to power requirements. I did try the black power cord from my dot 3 and it worked but not the correct cord for the dot 4.

This is great and place to buy because u don’t have to go to the store and its easier :)

Bought this for listening to music upstairs. Good sound from a small device. Fits anywhere.

I have echo dots throughout my home. They have a great sound quality. I love the design of this particular dot.

We have some gen 2 dots. This one has a better speaker than the old ones. It's works great and set up is easy.

Price was great and we loved our speaker with Alexa sound quality is ok

Love the new Echo Dots I purchased, however, adding another voice to the unit is not a easy process! Ugh! I just like things that are simple. The connection is good and it works well. I still have not added the other family member as I just didn’t have time to go through the steps to do so. Overall good little units, still am learning what to use it for on a regular basis. And I still need to see how I can add my music. Still working through adding everything.
