I use the echo dots as a speaker system

I was pleasantly surprised if the responsiveness and sound quality when paired together. Just an additional note: the dots have somewhat a directional sound. So when listening to something, you may have to move the dot to point towards where you are to get the most direct and clear sound quality.

Gadget I never knew I needed.

I’ve used it a lot more than I thought for daily things like whether, music, audiobooks and just random information that I might need. The sound quality on it I have to say has been amazing especially for its size.

Alexa, my new friend

Purchased it for his birthday. My husband uses it for his morning alarm. I enjoy checking the weather or having it play music while I get ready for work. Bought a bulb and now Alexa can turn the lamp on and off for us. We are enjoying it a lot and look forward to finding more things it can do for us.

I'm still not sure I prefer them to the gen3 sound and form factor but connectivity and performance are noticable improvements on the gen 4.
