Still trying to see if this version is a worthy upgrade from previous models. So far, this model is still hit or miss when you are calling on her to ask a question or to perform a task. Sometimes it will pick up your requests the first time you call on her, sometimes, it takes 2-3 times and sometimes raising your voice, louder than what anyone should have to speak. I will admit, the sound is much better than previous models. Bass is a little deeper, overall louder. Will continue to use it to get a better feel for it and probably do an update after more time with this model

Purchased four of these for the sole purpose of being able to use as an intercom system throughout my three story townhome. Didn’t realize how much I use the other features (scheduling, music, podcasts, weather and traffic reporting)!!!! We love this thing and do not ever want to think about my life without it.

Better sound than echo dot previous gen. Also nice design

I purchased this to work along with the Echo Show our son gave us for Christmas. This synced very well with the Echo Show and actually we purchased another dot with clock display for our bedroom. We have the Show in our main room, this dot in our library and the clock in our bedroom. All seem to work seamlessly with each other.

Louder, clearer, and more intuitive than my 2nd Gen Dot.

Love this little guy! Got it to use as an alarm clock for my husband's. This way he can just tell her to set an alarm and it's done. Then we started using it for so much more. Great size, nice and small, doesn't take up any room on our headboard.

A little confusing syncing with the Echo Show, but once it was done, it's wonderful being able to walk throughout the house and hear everything everywhere

The previous version doesn't hear as well as this one. Had one on the kitchen that I constantly had to repeat myself to and replaced with this one. it hears me every time now. Bought two and got 22 bucks off of each. Buy these on sale. It happens frequently.

Great dialogue clarity and high end for such a little guy. I Need to get a subwoofer for the low ends. I ordered 2 of them and they sound good in stereo. What I do NOT like, is that in keeping Alexa off when not using the speakers because what you say IS recorded and used by Amazon marketing m, there’s a 360 degree bright red light at the base of the speakers that never goes off. I find that total BS and I resent it as much as I’m annoyed by it.
