I like it, lots of features. Especially if you have doorbell cameras

set up was more difficult than I anticipated... It is very unfortunate that if you are using the Amazon app on your phone either Android or Applies devices to do a video call you will only appear in portrait mode not landscape mode which would best utilize the width of this display. so more than one person in your side of the video call to the echo show is about all that fit very well... This issue has been reported to Amazon quite some time ago and they fail to address the issue. Echo show to Echo likely does not have that issue but I cannot verify that... Yes you can put pictures on it but can only upload 10 unless you have an Amazon photos account of some type... i was really hoping it would be a bit more user friendly... It must be tied to an Amazon account to set it up as well... Hope that helps a bit for basic functions you are looking for... I suggest doing some research on this one a bit more... A portrait oriented video call to my mother in the nursing home is still a nice step above just a phone call...

Love the simplicity and really enjoy being able to drop in on family members and has been a great use for checking in on inlaws that are nursing home bound.
I would recommend this to a friend

It more or less works. I got it mainly to monitor my security cams. The site said it could be done. After several attempts I could never get it to work. I have several smart switches, bulbs and other devices that work with Alexa, but the cams will not. For what I wanted it for it was a waste of money.
