It gets warmer than I expected, but I'm used to a black and white instead of color, and I wanted color. It took a little getting used to as a result, and I find that I use it primarily for television when I have Internet available, and four games, although I bought it so I'd have a backup for my reading in case my old Kindle went bad. The games and the drawing have become a Mainstay of relaxation in a stressful time. Because I lack regular internet, I can't tell you if it would be as Fabulous As I suspect with internet, especially the television, but if you're looking for a compact color Amazon Kindle, this is it. And if you look for the larger one, it's available too. My only problem is it has become unable to download books and updates on games and new games, and I know it's a common problem and when it's a big enough problem I will look up again how to fix it, so if you are highly stressful, look it up in advance. Even without internet, I use it daily. Better I cannot say.

Got for my granddaughter. She was so excited to get one. She watches videos, games and does school worksheets on it. Her older sister tries to steal it

I bought this tablet because mainly as an e-reader over a regular kindle because of the extra features it allows me to use that an e-reader won’t, audible, watching movies on the plane etc. Also love the option of the micro sd slot to expand the memory over other tablets and e-readers.

Great tablet. Lost my previous one which my daughter used to use a lot and I had to get another one for her .

My grandson thinks he's a big boy now that he has his Fire 7. He doesn't whine as much at home. He's busy and feels like a part of the family that is about important stuff. He is the youngest of 6. His brother above him has not been a good boy so his tablet was taken away but now that he's doing better he may be allowed to have another tablet. He wants a Fire 7 just like his little brother. So thank you guys for peace in the home. :)

I use it as a display on the wall for actiontiles. Works perfect for this.

Great tablet must've gotten a virus though takes awhile to reboot and use Amazon apps especially the silk browser issues?

When I sign into my Amazon account, it links my daughter's tablet to my echo which does not allow me to talk to my echo allows her to talk to her I go on her device. It also links all of my pictures into her tablet.

Nice service and tablet does everything I want it to do and more I put it in a zagg autofit Bluetooth keyboard case and it's more of a mini laptop now

I purchase this fire tablet along with two other for my grandkids for Christmas 10/2020, now this one will not power on.

Got this tablet for my grandson. He loves it! He plays with it all the time and helps him to increase his computer skills.

Great for what it is. Even better with Google Play store side loaded: I got my Fire HD 7 on black Friday and set up was a breeze. I side loaded the Google Play store (check Youtube, it's easy) and installed my favorite Google apps, Youtube, Google Play Music, other apps I like from the Play Store that Amazon's app store does not provide and I'm loving the tablet. It's no speed demon but for the price I wasn't looking for cutting edge technology. I also bought the cover and the docking station and switch between the two easily. This Kindle Fire HD 7 blends the best of both worlds for me regarding size and image quality. It's a nice companion to have near, lets my kids use the apps that they like, moderate gaming, lots of reading and now having both Amazon Music and Google Play Music, a slew of options for music. If you are looking for a nice reliable multimedia hub, look no further than this tablet. The price is on point for the features it has provided thus far and I am happy with my purchase. it is a great middle of the road tablet and the price it can't be beat. I'm giving it 5 because It's a must have by any means but it fits the casual niche perfectly too.

I've had a couple of these for my toddler, in a thick protective bumper... Good product, but kids will find away to break stuff...

Simple tablet and you can't complain for the price. My only complaints would be with amazon. You can't let your kids use it to watch prime or play games without them being able to buy things. You can set a password but then you need to put it in every time they switch what there doing. (It gets annoying quick.) And to get google play store you need to change settings and download them from a website in a specific order to get it. Not the end of the world but its annoying. Plus if you have multiple Amazon devices and your kid does buy something they can't tell what one did it. My kids have bought a couple of shows when they new they shouldn't of. And my son bought $90 in game addons in a free game. And Amazon just says you need to contact the software company. They never responded. But they probably would have done those things with an iPad too. I would say the cases from poetic are amazing though. A bit pricey considering the tablet was $35 but besides the normal regular drops on wood and tile floors. We have one got thrown off the second floor once and also left outside in the rain over night and is still going.

my grandson loved it. since has a disability it keeps him busy for hours.

It's the best one, I love it because it's the great one for my little one.

My grandbabies enjoyed there fire 7. They wouldn't put it down.

I would recommend anyone to go shop at Best buy for all their gadgets.
