Bought this item 2 years ago for a 7 year old, and it still works perfectly! Bought this item on sale for a great buy, and it was well worth it! Would definitely buy again.

Best thing for a toddler, and love that you can get them fun cases for them to have a good grip on.

It's a decent tablet if you're not looking into doing heavy multitasking or installing a mass library of games/apps. Doesn't have much in the way of memory or storage, I bought it for my grandmother and she wasnt looking for top tier specs such as high storage space, high quality screen resolution or the amount of ram it has. I believe if you're someone interested in getting a tablet but dont wanna pay hundreds and don't really care for flagship specifications this is a viable option. 10/10 from granny lol.

We have a bunch of 10" Fire's at home that we use for work and gaming, etc. but we were looking for a small tablet to use to control our geeni lights, Roku's and the like and this is perfect. It is about the size of the old-school Sony programmable touch screen remote so it is easy to use. Lightweight enough to just leave on the coffee table but beefy enough to still get online and do real tasks with if you need to.

It's a Fire 7 9th Generation. That meant little to me. Coming from a Note5 background at first I was upset at how slow it loaded programs. Soon though my tablet and I became sympatico...it wasn't love at first sight, but it's grown on me. If you are used to Chrome as your browser you do have to do some work to get that installed but along the way you also get Google play store etc. I'm finding it easier to get around in everyday. I still prefer my Galaxy 7 but the battery in this lasts much longer. For 40 it's a steal.

This is the perfect size for an e-reader. Easy to set up and use. Lightweight enough that it really doesn't make a difference in my purse or book bag.

Received for renewing my Geek Squad Maintenance agreement, thank you! I've never owned a tablet, very nice to have. I was told that it can be a little slow, which is correct, but again, for free I'm ok with that. Also a rather significant delay on email updating. Tend to use IPhone if important emails are expected, but still enjoy the larger screen size for gaming and for my grandson to use, better for his hands and eyes.

I got this tablet for the sole purpose to be able to read books, stream shows (Netflix, Hulu, Disney plus, and youtube) and listen to podcast on Spotify. It has successfully served all those purposes. Its small and light to carry around, the screen is clear and works well. The battery life is also good for 2-3 days of use before needing to be charged. There are plenty of other useful stuff it can do but like I mentioned it greats to read, watch movies, and listen to music/podcast.

I originally purchased this tablet to be more of an e-reader. It was inexpensive, served as a kindle to hold all my books and was the right size for what i was looking for. This a a great tablet for just that and regular Internet surfing. Anything outside of this and the performance lags. If you just want a simple tablet for reading and Internet browsing, this is a good option. Otherwise, you might want to consider something else.

Bought this product as my travel pad. I have a iPad I use at home so whenever I’m on the road traveling, I take my amazon fire. The price is great, so not wanting to damage my iPad I travel with this instead. It drops right into my purse and small enough it doesn’t bother the passenger next to me on the flight. The batters last me the entire day and I only have to charge it at nights. I take it every where.

I bought this to use in my home bar as a menu like they have in restaurants. It works great. It was $20 so you can't beat the price. Its cheaper than wasting paper and lamination. It does with come with ads on the lock screen, but if you don't need to connect it to the internet then that helps. It's a pretty standard ereader but since i only use it to open pdfs i cant say how great it is for reading books. I assume it's fine. I love the size of it as well.

Pros: - low price - easy to take advantage of all the Amazon Prime features - fast enough for browsing the web, reading e books, watching videos, and light gaming (ie Candy Crush). Cons: - standby battery life is pretty short - feels heavy when using it for an extended amount of time. - operating system stutters a lot, especially when multitasking. Could use some more ram and a faster processor. But for the price, it’s fine.
