Purchased it to replace an iPad and I like most everything. It took sometime to learn how to navigate around but the quality seems to be good for what I spent. However, I am finding that some apps are not available such as Firefox and the weather app I use. Also be aware every time you start it an ad comes up that you need to look at. I tried to change the default to no ads but they say the device is discounted to $149 and based on that I agreed to the ads. I can change the default to no ads but would then need to enter a credit card to pay a $15 fee. I realize that it’s a trick by Amazon but I just kept the ads.

This is a great device for the money ... easy to read screen with a great HD quality picture for photos and media consumption. Easy to setup and integrate with Amazon services. Used on vacation to Panama - connected via wifi without issue. Consider adding side loaded app for real Android apps that aren't available via Amzon.

Needed a larger screen to share pictures with a family member having vision problems. Increased speed and capacity is a bonus.

I hesitated before buying this because I already have a Fire HD 8. If you can get it on sale, the HD 10 is worth an upgrade because of the larger, sharper screen. One caveat: The battery life is shorter on the HD 10 than it is on the HD 8.

Easy to use lots of apps has alexia. Price is reasonable it’s my 3 upgrade all were kindles never a problem with them.

I like the tablet from the point of reading books. However, Amazon has limited the Kindle Fire to access only Apps from Amazon. I had to do a work around to get the Flickr app, which is not available on Amazon apps. The limitation on apps is troubling to me. However, the workaround did work, II ignored Amazon warnings, and I was able to finally get Google Play which has the Flickr app. Now I can easily see beautiful photos posted on Flickr by my son. I am recommending this tablet with the notation that if you are interested in apps that are not in the Amazon app store, then you might think twice.

I now have 5 Kindles, this far is the BEST BUY NOW WHEN IT IS ON SALE. I GOT MY A FEW WEEKS AGO AT $99, I would even buy this product at the higher price. that is how good this kindle is. MUCH cheaper as an IPAD, but MUCH LESS.

Wow, check it out ! I was scared of tablets but this is easy, simple. This tablet does everything that others do for a lot less $$$, clear screen with HD resolution, 10" size, 32 Gigs of storage just like an I-pad, and Voice activated digital assistant Alexa, so many good things, if you are an Amazon Prime member you get the free tv shows, music and games that come with your subscription! I bought the Logitech K480 Multi Device Multi Device Bluetooth Keyboard (sold separately) and works great with this tablet.

I bought this tablet for my grandpa hoping that he could get the hang of using it. After i set it up he played around with it and got the hang of it pretty easily. The screen size and color is great especially for the price

I bought this for my 81 year old mom. It has a big screen, it's user friendly, It's light weight, and very reliable.

Very easy to use. Travel and is great on the plane. Small but a decent screen. Love that it has Alexa.

I purchased and returned two tablets prior to this one. It is perfect for reading, shopping, watching videos, searching the internet and playing games. Its not glitchy or delayed like some others. Love it!

I purchased the Amazon Fire HD 10.1 for my 10 year old grandson. It was the best purchased that I could have made for him. Its easy to operate, The quality is nice, and the cost was acceptable. The Amazon Fire HD 10.1 can be used by not only children but adults as well. What i truly, enjoy about this tablet is the size (10.1) the screen isn't small. I would definitely, recommend this product to anyone.

I wanted a small, inexpensive tablet that I could read books I have purchased for a Kindle, read documents I had created on other computers and access the internet. This does all of that and more! It has a good battery life, is lightweight and charges with the same charger which I use for my cellphone. This is a perfect laptop replacement for people who don't play games much beyond simple card games or need more than basic word documents or spreadsheets.

good table for the cost, it's great for fun but not quite fantastic for things like getting work done. If you want to be productive on it, I would suggest only using it for reading or viewing documents. Fun wise, it is fun, you can game on it but do not expect to play AAA titles. Battery lasts forever. The down side to it is the adds, super annoying adds, but they're only on the lock screen. I have gotten them off with help from amazon.

But made awesomer after a quick search on how to install Google Play on it. Now I have access to Amazon and google app stores and saved a couple hundred dollars in the process by not having to buy an iPad or Galaxy tab because I have that functionality on this $149 tablet. It has a big screen with great resolution and it's light. I see no cons with this tab.

The HD capability for videos, movies and TV shows is amazing. I love reading my books on it too and am still learning new things to use it for. Never thought I'd enjoy it more than my Kindle.
