The best tablet for under $300 and then is better than some of those i have tested over $300. Great to have all the extras thru Amazon Prime.

Got this as a gift and it is great, almost as powerful as the ipad at 1/4 the price (when on sale) thinking about getting one for myself.

Nice sized screen; print is clearer than on the equivalent 8-inch model. Volume control buttons not as helpful as on the older Kindle Fire models. It's hard to get a very low volume when needed. Great for watching movies. Haven't tried the camera yet. Fairly fast processor. Got it on sale. Great thing to have, especially for its price.

I have had a Kindle before; a smaller older one. This one is bit extra in that it is larger and has a really clear picture for viewing videos and the like. I like that I can play games and use it without worrying about the battery dying too quickly. I have been getting really good use out of it and would definitely buy again, should I need to.

I purchased my wife a ipad last year and it is awesome!! I wanted one for myself but didn't want to spend that kind of money!! I won one of these in a raffle and gave it to my daughter!! I liked it so much I grabbed one at best buy while it was on sale!! It is fast and does great with videos!! The only thing that is not great is the camera!! I love this tablet Iam doing this review on!!

I had a four year old Kindle and upgraded to the newest one. Bigger, more memory, better screen resolution, all around improvement.

Needed a replacement for an older tablet and this proved to be a good choice. Easy to set up. Reading the paper is now a joy.

Perfect works great. Slim and fast yet easy to hold

Bought this as a gift for my aging mother. She loves it. She can see more than any other device she has used-HD is awesome! The price point is great, and it’s seems to work comparable to the pricier competition. Has hands free Alexa, and Bluetooth, which is great once you learn how it all works. There are a lot of features, if you are up to checking out new things and have some patience this is a great buy! Only con is finding a cover for it at a reasonable price and in a timely manner.

This is an upgrade from the 2012 model with a smaller screen. I purchased as a Christmas present to replace my husband much smaller 2012 model which is still going strong. He loves it. More features, nice size screen for his fingers and loaded with apps. I got it for a great price and happy because he is happy.

This Amazon Fire Tablet is fabulous. Beautiful 10" screen with a fast processor. This device downloads quickly. No issues anywhere in the house with stable connectivity. Very pleased with the quality and performance. Got it for a great price as a Deal of the Day.

Super fast great screen light weight and easy to use

I bought this tablet for my not so tech savvy wife. She loves it and plays her google games on it. Much better than playing them on the cell phone. Nice, large screen, easy to hold (not too heavy), and has great resolution and very good sound for something this size. Very pleased and recommend this tablet.

I've quickly become a Amazon Echo family. I recently bought a house and wanted to find a economical way to have music on every floor. When the Amazon Show came out I bought two. It's worked great and I am now addicted to Alexa. I thought when they announced the Fire HD tablet with Alexa it would be a game changer. Although a great tablet, the Alexa functionality has a way to go. It's much slower to respond than a Amazon Echo or Show and the speaker lacks as well. Overall a good tablet but if you really want to use it as a Amazon Echo device look at their other options.

This is a fast tablet, especially for the money - bought on sale with the ads. Long lasting battery. Already have a more expensive tablet that is a few years old and is getting slow and didn’t want to spend a lot of money this time. Primary use is for internet, reading, movies and music. Very happy!

Got it when it was on sale. A good substitute for Ipad if you are only interest in browsing the net. Light weight.

The size of this tablet is excellent for reading and not to mention the price compared to other similar tablets.

Best bang for the buck if you don't mind ads or an occasional glitch here and there with the screen? I think the quality could be better (glitchyness), but it works pretty darn good for the price and is pretty fast too. Oh, screen is beautiful with zero issues. I'd buy over again if I needed one, which I don't.

This Fire Tablet replaces an old Kindle Fire 8". The tablet was on sale and with the trade-in value, it was a great value. The larger screen is nice for reading and it is not heavy to hold. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would recommend the Fire Tablet.
