Great display quality, touch screen performs very well, good battery life. Perfect size to carry around. Not to mention the access to lot of Amazon videos. Overall it is an amazing tablet for the price.

I got the amazon fire 6 hd for my wife for Christmas!! You can do so much on this tablet. It was an excellent choice!! :) We have fun playing games on it and she does a lot of reading on it.

I bought this from Best Buy as it was on sale. I was going to buy from Amazon, but Best Buy had it a bit cheaper. I've owned several Kindles over the years, including previous-gen Fire HDs and this one is definitely the best one yet. Amazon always manages to improve on its design and offer new features and useful improvements. My only real complaint, and I've felt this way since the product's inception, is the limited app selection due to Amazon's custom Fire Android platform. I don't understand why they don't just offer the normal Play Store and full Android app suite. As a video gamer, it's frustrating that the Xbox app is available on Kindle but the PlayStation app is not.

Easy to use. Wi Fi ready can access Facebook and e mail. Stores loads of books and games. Took it on a trip so much easier than hauling a ton of books. Good clarity on the text fits in my purse or travel

I bought two of these as Christmas gifts for my girlfriend and my daughter and they are both thrilled with the features and the HD quality of the screen! Easy to carry in their purses and very light.

Bought this for my 10 year old son to replace his older kindle fire, he loves that it runs faster,has a camera that is easy to use,and a higher quality picture. I would highly recommend this kindle.

The 6" Fire is so awesome fits in my purse, lightweight and very portable. Lightning fast and excellent picture color and clarity. I bought it as a gift but almost kept it for myself!

I purchased this for my 10 year old god daughter. Its a pretty compact tablet. Some people complain about it not living up to its shatter-proof claim. Let's not tempt fate, and just buy a good case for it. Especially if you're giving it to a kid. I uninstalled some of the preinstalled apps to free up some room. The OS takes up quite a bit. I bought this for her to read on, but we all know she's going to download every game she can find. I almost don't want to give it to her; I'm having fun playing with it myself. The display is nice and vibrant. Responsive screen. I like it so far, and I'm sure she'll love it.

great price for this tablet, hd resolution, my nephew is on this all the time, it not too big, and not too small.

This Kindle Fire is great! It is a perfect size; I carry it in my purse so it is handy whenever I need it. I use it as a reader also and love it!

I really enjoy this Fire HD and am finding more uses daily. I have an Ipad but don't use it much as it is larger and heavier than the Fire HD. I can put this 6 inch tablet into my purse and can take it anywhere. Love it. Am having a hard time to find a case for it, most of the cases are made for 7 inch and up. The one I have is only 6 inches. Still love it!

I cannot believe how easy the Kindle HD is to use. I love the camera functions, email use and access to so many great apps.

This Christmas gift for a 6 year old was a big hit. We haven't hit the 16gb limit but opted for a larger storage for downloading in the future. plenty of games and apps too.

I highly recommend the Kindle with the 16 gig hard drive. It is the perfect size for studies as well as for traveling.

For the price this is an excellent Buy. It does everything I could want ....it is especially good for using Skype. I have my son, daughter ,sisters that live in the UK and a brother who lives in New Zealand. It is a very cost effective way of keeping in touch. An inexpensive and excellent produck...

My wife and I purchased this for our daughter and could not be happier. We have an iPad and are constantly trying to figure out who used it last and who needs it next . Now with her own tablet, the conflicts have died down and we can download apps and games appropriate for her. The price is right for all that the Fire can do and my wife uses it after our daughter goes to bed for web browsing while watching TV. Definitely worth the price.

My boys (ages 12 & 8) both saved their allowance money & some Christmas money to purchase a Kindle. Each had an ipod touch, but really wanted a tablet. We did some research online into different brands, features, and prices, and settled on the Kindle HD 6 - 16 GB. We were drawn to the quality brand, extra GB, and many features. So far so great, they love playing on them and are extremely happy. Great buy for the price!

I previously had the previous generation HD 7 And got the new HD 6 because I wanted some more storage space and some of the new features. I mainly use it for video through my prime membership so for that it works great. Its not to big and not to small and makes it nice to take with you on the road. If your looking to do something a little more advanced other than watching videos and playing some simple games it would probably be in your best interest to spend some more money and buy something a little better but if you just want something to waste time and fill your entertainment needs the HD 6 is a good choice for the price.
