I upgraded from an early edition Kindle, mainly for the text to speech feature. I love the size, capability to read in the dark and the price! Thank you, Kindle!

Bought this tablet for my cross-country flights. Works well with my amazon prime. I can download movies and books to it easily. Only negative were the ads that kept popping up. I ended up paying $15 on Amazon to stop the pop-up ads. I did not know that the price that I paid was for the Kindle 'with Offers' as it was not stated on the product.

I purchased this tablet as a gift for my grandson due to the parental control features offered. The amount of educational apps that are available, as well as the fun stuff made it worth the value. He really enjoys being able to watch his favorite movies too.

This is a perfect size for my use (recipes, lists, etc.) and Amazon continues to produce a quality product. This is actually my second Kindle (the first was "donated" to my granddaughter). The only down side is that the device does not support SD memory cards.

Got this one for my son who is 12 and its perfect. It has everything a preteen or teen wants and needs and you can also set up parental controls if need be. He loves it :)

Got this cause it is supposed to be a little rugged (haven't test that yet and hope not to). It is small but that's why I got it . Got it to put in camera bag so I could have pic help books in the field without a bunch of books .

Love it , easy to use ,fantastic graphics! It was puchased for my 3 year old and it was amazing to watch it come out of the box and immediately she was able to download her fav apps and it already was linked to my daughters.

I bought this because I didn't want to take my iPad air with me everywhere and I like to read books while traveling so this is very portable and fits in my purse. The picture quality on the cameras are lousy. It has frozen a couple of times when in use but overall is a good product

I got the 16gb version of this tablet which was only 119.00 dollars.What got my attention was the price but also the hd screen and front and back cameras were good additions.Ialso like the smaller size because it will fit in my back pocket or coat pocket. I shop on amazon alot so this tablet should fit my needs.

i love my kindle fire! I've had ereaders and tablets before and this one is by far the best. I can do everything with it. I think my favorite feature is the fact that I can get library books on it.

Very easy to use and set up. Only thing I would warn to people is that it's Amazon app store instead of Google play, so some apps not available. The ereader aspect of it is easy on the eyes.

this tablet is durable and have good specs for the price but my only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the 6 inch is on the small side but luckily you can choose a 7 inch which is the perfect size

This is a great item. The 6" Kindle Fire HD fits perfectly in my hand. The picture is great and it takes good pictures and video. I upgraded from a 7" kindle Fire. It was worth it :)

I got this for my 5 year old nephew after speaking to other parents and he Loves it!! He finds it manageable and loves playing games on it. He can't wait to be able to "talk" on it.

I am so in love with my kindle! Light, easy to use and great in comparison to apple products! I would definitely recommend!

My children had a RCA tablet and it was a waste of money. I researched other tablets to see which one had good reviews in order to purchase another one for their birthday. The kids love playing games and watching movies on the Amazon Fire. Since I purchased two devices I'm able to upload apps on both devices without having to install or pay for them twice. The pictures are clear and I enjoy the parental controls.

Nice size, sleek design, simple navigation, high definition and a 16G storage. Average for watching movies and games and but best for reading ebooks and internet content

Love my new kindle. Love being able to load my books directly from digital library to my ereader. Often use overdrive vs kindle to read my books but both easy to use

Purchased for my husband who loves to read but is technically challenged. He doesn't operate a computer, does not have a cell phone. I was worried he would not like it or even try to use it. He started reading right away ( I had put 10 books on it before giving it to him). Then scolded me because he doesn't want to do anything else now. He is wanting to learn what else he can do besides read books!!

Absolutely love my kindle ! It last a very long time and the features are amazing.
