Good device for reading and small enough to carry in a purse. Drawbacks are it's heavy and the screen is so small it is difficult to use the touchscreen to navigate on the web.

Last years iPad purchase became a permanent attatchment for our 5 year old, absolutely infuriating his mother. Her inability to endlessly peruse useless FB posts caused great pain and suffering throughout the cosmos. The purchase of the Kindle Fire has alleviated all turmoil and the entire family is now capable of complete escape from reality and any hope of ever creating a true experience or memory. The horror.

I bought it for my relative and she loved it. She use it everyday. Whew! That saved me $$$ instead of buying iPad.

This is very easy to figure out and use. It is easy to transport too.

This Fire tablet is very solid, not quite as thin as the HDX's, but very convenient if your'e looking for something on the smaller side. Not as many apps available as for my iPad but enough for traveling purposes to quickly read emails, browse, and entertainment.

I would highly recommend this to anybody.it is the perfect size for my six-year-old's hands he just loves it

User friendly enough for my 79 year old mother to stay in touch with email, play soduko and share photos.

The kindle is very user friendly. You spend half the money buying books as you do the hard cover.

My Kindle Fire is great. I bought the 6" and it is the perfect size for me. It has a very good screen that makes it easy to read books and hold easily. I like that I can check the internet on it and watch videos too. It really is my new computer that also makes it easy to read. I'm glad I bought the 16 GB for the added storage.

The Kindle HD6 is fast and the size is easy to handle with one hand. Screen is a little small, but I enjoy carrying it around. The battery does not last as long as my iPad, but still acceptable. Suggest purchasing for easy on the go.
