The new Amazon - Fire HD - 6" is a replacement for my original Kindle and it is the perfect size and weight for my evening reading. Brightness is adjustable, so not to disturb others.

Candle is very easy & comfortable to use on daily base, easy to manage, very low cost factor, no complicated softwares.

could of been the prefect thing but the only thing is the volume it needs more.

I've had a Kindle since they first came out. I've purchased each new type and of all of them I love this one due to the size and it is so much easier to use. Love the camera too!

I love my kindle. it is perfect for what I need... I have my books and a few games, and can also get the internet if I want. the only problem was that the kindle I received would not connect to wifi. went through tech help, which also could not fix problem. glad to say they sent a new one right away, no problem.

This is a great tablet!! Can load lots of apps. It is so easy to use, especially for the kids!!

Bought this for my 10 year old great-granddaughter. She loves it! I would recommend for any child 6 years and up.

So far so good. Took a little getting used to it but hey they are 71. Pretty easy to navigate.

We got one for each of our kids for Christmas on special. They love them. Only thing is the battery doesn't last long enough for them and their heavy use. In addition the need to remove content is a little bit of a pain, but not nearly as painful as some reviews that I saw on the devices prior to purchasing this one. Would be nice to be able to add Google Play apps as some apps are not available on the Amazon App Store that the kids like such as FarFaria and Handouts.

I got this on sale for my 4 yr old as a Christmas present for $79 + tax; this is a fully functional high quality android tablet which is perfectly size for my son's little hands. I use the freetime app to restrict what content and apps he can leverage which is excellent for parental controls. Only drawback is I can't share my music that I have but looks like from checking around the web there are some workarounds.

I bought this tablet for my mother who lives in Canada. As far as tablets go, it's one of the "better" ones. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and I was going to get her that, but then I saw this on "Black Friday", and got a great deal. What I should of done is my homework though.... Because my mother doesn't live in the U.S., the "promotional period" of becoming a Prime Member, is completely useless, which was a factor in my decision when buying this tablet.
