My niece was looking for a kindle of her own so she didn't have to keep borrowing mine. This is the perfect size for her age,5. She plays mine craft all day on this thing. Mine craft on the kindle does not require you to purchase all those additional mods. She also uses it for early readers. Couldn't beat the price!!

Amazon kindle have high quality . Screen if clear and battery life y amazing. Watch videos and listen music every day. Audio is enough louder . Overall good device.

Takes great pictures. Easy to use for someone not very tech savvy. Love having my books, email, and web browsing all in one place. Great price for all you get. The camera takes great pictures from the front and back. Downloads very quickly.

This was a gift for a "senior" citizen. It turned out to be the perfect choice for someone with arthritis of their hands. It was light enough to hold and the icons were the perfect size for the swollen fingers to push. It was user friendly and did not intimidate them from using it. A good choice for someone NOT of the technology era.

Bought this for my 2 year old to do abcmouse on and she loves it! It fits perfectly in her little hands! It never lags, and is very easy for her to get back to the app if she accidently closes out. Prefect tablet for little kids!

I love my HD fire, it's small enough to fit into my purse with a case on it. I'm very pleased with my product, love that the camera can be switched from back to front, it's easy to navigate through....Overall great product!!

This is a great little tablet for the price and fits my mom's needs exactly She's 72 and not afraid of technology but doesn't have a smart phone so the touch screen is brand new to her. So far it's been easy for her to use and she's excited about it. I chose it for her because she wanted an e-reader for trips but also would enjoy a few aps and games, especially skype. The only gripes so far are that the ads on the lock screen won't go away even though we turned them "off" and finding that setting took a while in the first place. I'm hoping there's another fix for that - and it's a minor annoyance. Lastly it's a bit heavy in her hand but again great for the price.

I really like my tablet I can do just about everything a computer can do. Play a lot of games on it and listen to music. What I do not like is I can't put a memory card in and the volume is not very loud

Purchased this product for my nine year old's birthday. She loves it! It is easy to use, handle and has a great picture. It is also very durable has already been dropped but there was no damage.

Bought this for teen niece. Perfect for her to play games, read books and watch movies. Just the right size to keep in a book bag or purse. She loved it. She couldn't stop smiling after she opened her Christmas gift. Best tablet for the price.

My girlfriend has the first generation Kindle Fire (7") and absolutely loves it. I wanted to start reading more but didn't want to spend tons of money on something that I could possibly use in spurts. In the beginning I wasn't sure if I liked the 6" screen but am now used to it. It's about the size of a small novel but you can adjust the font size, line spacing as well as the margins, if you need a little more space for your fingers while reading. I mostly use my fire to read but have occasionally used the other functions. Great buy if you're looking to just read as well as having the other options just in case.

Best tablet on the market. Very easy to use and excellent battery life. I have a two year old that loves playing on it and the childproof option is seemingly exquisite.

Our student needed something small, light and capable of doing a fair amount. This has worked great! In fact, we liked it so much, he liked it so much, that we bought them for all of our children (high school and college).

I use my Amazon Fire all the time. It can do everything I want in a tablet. It has a great HD screen and I stream my favorite music effordlessly. I highly recommend my Amazon Fire as an excellent low cost tablet.

This was the big hit of Christmas. Our little girl adores this device! It does so much that she likes: books, movies, music, streaming content, and games. Parents, these things are great for an incentive as well. Telling her to do as her mother says or she won't get to use her Kindle later gets her moving every time. She's been using it a lot to watch Amazon Instant Videos on Prime, especially Nickelodeon shows. They stream flawlessly and so does Pandora for her music. This device does it all and looks really good doing it. While maybe not as robust as an Android tablet, what the Kindle does it does quickly and smoothly. She loves it and I love that she doesn't want to play with my phone anymore! HA!

The device worked great. I loved the parental control feature. However, 8GB is not enough. I constantly had to delete content so my child could connect to WiFi as it would disconnect when device is full.

8gigs, no card slot, and the pre-programmed material uses 5 gigs. I'm not sophisticated enough to de-program the things I don't want. I couldn't load music and books, not enough room. Good for kids, lots of kids stuff loaded. Good feel. Fine for a reader. Good price. I just decided I wanted more than a reader. Best Buy was fine about the return.

The Kindle Fire 6 is a reasonably priced e-reader with wi-fi that is light weight and can fit into a small bag. I recommend it to one and all!

My grandson loves it has not put it down. He plays games and music none stop. Very easy to set up. I love the parental controles. The book app is my favorite very easy to see and read.
