I upgraded from the original kindle to the touchscreen. I love the size and ease of use. Everything imported automatically when I got it set up.

My latest Kindle is a delightful addition to my collection. I have 3 different e-ink kindles, and a 7" Kindle Fire HD. I've also purchased 2 Kindle HDX's for my daughters and they love them. Why purchase another one? Well technology continues to evolve and besides, I was able to turn in my 1st edition Nook Color and receive a $50 credit from Best Buy towards my 6" Kindle Fire. I still have a Nook e Ink reader, and my Nook Color hadn't been used in more than 2 years. Maybe I'm a little obsessive, but I never want to be without a book, e reader, or tablet wherever I go. I'm constantly reading, and with 200 books on my Nook and more than 7300 on Kindle, I'm never without a good read. Anyway, my 6" Fire HD is perfect because I can use it as a back up, take it to work, and access everything I need on it - including watching Amazon Prime movies and television. I still use my 7" Kindle Fire more than anything else, but the 6" Fire can actually do a little more. You know, all that evolving technology and everything. I love my new Fire and I would recommend it to all of my friends and family.

This tablet is a great option if you are not looking to spend the amount needed for other tablets on the market. The Fire HD has much of the same functionality as other tablets available. Only complaint now is that it takes a little time and messing with to learn to use.

I own a Kindle Fire already and absolutely love it. I purchased this one as a gift for my sister and she loves it. Uses it for reading and browsing the Internet.

I had wanted to try a Kindle, and when this was on sale, I grabbed it. It has worked perfectly for my needs and I have had absolutely no issues. Great screen and very convenient.

Bought this for father in law. He loves it and streams Amazon prime videos and reads . Also a good go if you have Amazon fire tv usb. Mirror is awesome. I have the hdx. But I am assuming the same since this came after the hdx model.

Bought this tablet for our 9 year old grandson and he loves it. He'said a good reader and of course likes to play games!. His folks have a prime membership and there are several neat apps and games available. I did good!!

I love my new reader. This is my second one but the first one that has the ability to do more than just read books. I just wish the battery would last longer. It seems I am charging it all the time.

This is a great tablet for kids. Very reasonable price. My 9 year daughter could use it very easy and download game app and watch you tube easily. She asked for a Ipod but I think she is much happier with this for playing games.

I got this as a gift for my younger sister who had a 1st generation Kindle Fire, this is a huge upgrade for her, and she loves it!

Very impressed with this tablet. Compared to the IPAD Mini (which I have given to my wife), both are comparable with each other. I use this for web surfing, email and APPS.

The fire is great and a good size. It's not overly cumbersome like an iPad. Works on the android platform and syncs up with mobile devices with the same platform.

I bought this tablet for my granddaughter after another tablet I got her failed to perform. This tablet connects easily and processes fast. She is very happy with it.

I've been a kindle fan for a while, but have to say, the Fire is so much easier to read with the backlight! Crisp, clear lettering. Nice to be able to play games on it as well. Received this as a gift. Great pick :)

We bought two of these for our kids for xmas, for the price its hard to beat and offers them everything they need. Their only issue is your inability to purchase apps through google or the apple store, but oh well

I gave this tablet as a gift. He had asked for a basic Kindle and was thrilled when he opened the Fire. He has thoroughly enjoyed it and said several times how much he has enjoyed its capabilities. No regrets.

Bought 2 for Christmas, and the children loved them. I had bought one before and the screen cracked, so I made sure I bought good protective covers for these, as the screens in these types of items break easily.

For that price, i could not ask for anything better. Its definitely worth 5 stars and will replace any tablet I have in the house. Its video quality is not the best but that was not my aim when i bought it

I checked around for a lot of tablets and this one is one of the best. Samsung and Apple are overpriced and doesn't have the features that this one has. You won't get Google play apps unless you sideload them. I wish Amazon made 6" connected tables but wifi only will have to do. Plus there tablets have the snapdragon 800 chipset processor, so there's no reason to buy an expensive tablet.
