Bought this for my mom. It's a great entry level tablet. She likes tht she can leave her Kindle on her nightstand upstairs and sync her progress to her Fire downstairs.

I purchased this e-reader for my 8year old. He absolutely loves it. It is a great size has a crystal clear picture and offers great app choices. Well worth the money.

The product itself is nice and user friendly however we didn't do enough research into them about how to get anything worth while you have to pay for it but that was our fault. If you have the money to spend it would be a great product to have.

My 7-year-old loves this small tablet. She has a great tablet in a compact size. This is perfect for her small hands.

Fantastic little ereader, but the emphasis is on little. The number of pixels is the same as on a 7-inch Kindle, and the result is that everything is smaller--including the text in Kindle books (the next size up is enormous), websites, and everything else. It's too small for me to read comfortably, so I'm returning it. But I would recommend it to anyone who's vision is sharper than mine.

I have enjoyed the e reader function. The apps available are somewhat limited. I wish the charging port was lit up somehow. Very hard to plug charger in while it is dark. ( I like to read in bed at night) Charger cord is very short.

The Amazon Fire HD 6" Tablet is a good deal for the price of only $99. Most apps that you use everyday are available from the Amazon App Store and from the Google Play Store. It fits easily into packet for easy reading when traveling. It does have a rear and front-facing camera, but the quality is not very good at all. Overall, this is a good simple tablet for those not looking to spend a much. Fire tablet it is a great gift for any occasions.

We use this tablet a lot in our house and on trips. Easy for the kids to use. So many things to do with this... Movies, reading, games, Internet.

I upgraded from a 1st generation brand-x version that held its own; however I was moved by Best Buy's trade-in offer which allowed a generous money value toward my purchase. I am pleased with this unit. It operates smoothly and delivers impressive performance. It was definitely a smart move for me.

Depending on how you plan to use your kindle it might be worth upgrading to the larger size. That being said this size is compact and easy to travel with.

This tablet is used to do just the basics and I found it to be capable of much more. Nice choice of apps and very easy to set up and use. Great device,

This little guy is top-notch. Quality and HD picture are superb. Great for an adult, teenager or a tween.

This is my daughters Christmas gift and it will work perfect for her. Smaller than the other kindles, yet it has everything the others have to offer.

My third Kindle, so I'm a fan... But... Good: decent price ...unit works smooth...compact sort of pocket size... addition of another camera ... Screen res decent Not so good: 6" screen about as small as you want to go, especially for reading books. Almost in samsung phone screen territory here... Main concern: battery life... Battery meter literally dropping before your eyes...stats claim 8 hrs battery, but I seem to be getting around maybe 6...maybe... Still deciding if I want to swap for 8"...

This tablet is the perfect size, I love the picture/screen clarity, with the vibrant colors it displays. Reading, games and even movie watching if fun on this small tablet.

Kindle fire has more than just the reading option which is good for many reasons. Child only wants to play games and download. Was hoping for more excitement being able to download the ebooks. Still a work in progress.

Bought for a 5 year old & she thinks its awesome. The only problems i have with it are 1.) The ads on the lock screen ,You have to pay for them to be removed.2.) The screen tends to freeze up quite a bit .

Got this as a Christmas gift for daughter. She loves it. It has great features and it's easy for her to use. I love the kindle free time.

I got this for my 3 year old son as his brother has one. It is easy for him to use and parental control. Screen is a little small for me but he is fine with it.

It was dropped the first day and already cracked, the product is great, just not as durable as it states it is.
