It was a Christmas gift for my 83 year old father in law. We needed something simple for and older person to use and the sales person at Best Buy said this would be better for him to use than a android tablet. It works great, easy to use, awesome features, he loves playing games on it. Extremely great tablet for the price might have to get myself one!

The 7" Amazon Fire HD was a perfect Christmas gift. The lady I gave it to told me it is extremely easy to learn, and that she uses it all through the day. When I was looking at it, in the store, the sales associate told me it was the best product for the money, and showed me hers. She also helped me pick out a case and a stylus. Her customer service was exceptional. This is one of the best Christmas presents I have ever given a friend.

I am so happy with my purchase. This e reader is absolutely amazing! Very easy to learn how to use and navigate, great screen quality and fantastic to read on. I chose this over a regular black and white e reader because I wanted to be able to do multiple things with it. I do not read outside very often so glare from the sun or lights was not a concern to me. Fantastic product. I could not be more happy with my purchase.

I have purchased several Kindle readers in the past and the Fire is by far the best one yet. It has so many applications with in one unit. I can order books and videos without going to another piece if equipment. I can go on the internet if I want, it is so user friendly. The price was excellent for all of this functionality.

This is my first Kindle Fire. I've had other tablets before. Bought it on sale for a decent price during Black Friday. This one is a nice pocket size tablet. Fits in your purse or bag easily. Its light weight. Mostly user friendly. You can download most apps for android devices. But there are some apps not available for Kindle devices. Overall its a good tablet.

I am pretty happy with this tablet. The pros are 1. very speedy operating 2.Holds a charge for quite a long time 3. Easy to use with amazon/kindle etc The cons are 1.a different operating system than most people are used to but can be figured out 2. It is android compatible but not all apps work on it. Some that do are not as usable as ones we might be used to but all in all it is a good tablet for the price.

I was one of the first to buy a Kindle when it only had e-paper and was slow as molasses but enjoyed the reading experience. I read most of Vince Flynn's books on it. Now I can watch Netflix and HBO Movies as well as read books. You can even get the 3M Cloud Library and read books free from your local public library. It's battery life is acceptable and it's just the right size.

Easy to use, great color and clairity, quick startup. Size is just right for reading and light weight is nice.

BOUGHT THE FIRE HD 7 FOR MY WIFE FOR CHRISTMAS. SHE LOVES IT. GREAT PICTURE WITH THE HD. EASY TO USE & IF SHE HAS ANY QUESTIONS, THE AMAZON REPS HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY HELPFUL IN GETTING HER QUESTIONS ANSWERED. THE " HELP " OPTION TO PUT YOU IN TOUCH WITH THE AMAZON REPS IS AWESOME. LOVE THIS TABLET. I WILL BE GETTING ONE FOR MYSELF IN THE NEAR FUTURE.

I bought this as a gift for my 82 yr old Dad who is computer challenged. We easily set this up and downloaded all his favorite apps and off he went! So easy him to navigate and entertains him for hours. The screen size is great and crystal clear and easily portable.

This replaced my first generation Kindle Fire. This one is much lighter and holds a battery charge better. I'm so pleased with it!

I am extremely pleased with my Kindle Fire HD 7. I had purchased an HP 7" tablet prior to this one. The Kindle outscores that in every way! The battery life is so much better on the Kindle as opposed to the HP tablet. The Kindle is compact and so easy to use. I love it...Just what I needed!

I purchased the Amazon fire HD 7" as a surprise gift for my husband. The sound and picture quality are really nice. It isn't as sleek feeling as others and occasionally a little quirky. It won't respond to touch or turn off, but this may be the heavy usage (we have small children also). Overall it has been worth every penny and I feel it is a great deal with fast performance.

This tablet is great and it runs well, the battery life is awesome. The only thing I wish I had done was get the larger gb storage. I do a lot more downloading then I thought I would and that extra space would have come in handy. I have the 8gb kindle, I highly recommend the 16gb if you tend to download a lot. It doesn't have to be just for games either.

This is the 4th Kindle Fire I have purchased as a gift for someone else. I have one of my own and I absolutely love it. So light, portable, and easy to use. All my books in one place, and I can also stream Netflix and check my e-mail. Nice for travel or just at home.

I have other tablets, but this one makes downloading apps so much easier and the charged battery seems to last forever. Everything about it is easier. Love it!

We bought two of these for our kids for Christmas. They love them. Haven't had any issues with them at all. We had an original Kindle Fire. This Kindle Fire HD is a vast improvement with better picture, fewer lockups, and the battery lasts a little longer.
