Nice for kids but their is no need for some many adult apps. Apps need to be for small children since this is designed for small children (I would say for kids 13 years and younger).

This tablet is nice for a kid. It's not as user friendly as apple products but still great. Amazons customer service is superb. Our broke and they sent a new one right away!

The Amazon Fire Kids Edition is a basic durable tablet for children. One of the highlights of this tablet is the amount of Amazon content available and included in the price.

The screen is durable, however, we've had the product for about three weeks and few pixels were damaged. Our child is particularly rough with it, so I'm not 100% surprised.

My toddler loves his Amazon fire kids edition tablet. He uses it every chance he gets. I love the fact that the different apps for his age are compatible with this tablet.

We bought these tablets for our 5 year old and 2.5 year old. Reading reviews we were excited for them to use it; however we are really, really disappointed in them. The books and apps take forever to load (even with a strong internet connection), there is really minimal content (I know you can always add more), cannot be used outside when it's sunny because you can't see the screen, and it runs so slow that my 5 yo gets extremely frustrated. It is pretty much to the point that neither child wants to play with their tablets, and they have only had them for a month or so. The biggest thing you can forget is using it on the run when there is not an available Internet connection unless you want to use your smartphone as a hotspot. The only thing we do like is the extremely durable case. Honestly if you are looking for a good tablet, this is not it. Unfortunately, we will have to buy another tablet that is more functional.

I got this tablet as a gift for my 6 year old and he is learning so much. There are so many educational apps and games that are age appropriate for him to explore every day.

This item is for my 3 year old granddaughter. She loves it. Wakes up with it, goes to sleep with it. Has taken some falls, but not many. Great for whom it is designed for, kids! Will be buying another for her 2 year old sister.

My two year old twins love it. Still learning to download apps and how to store on the micro SD card. Internal 8gb gets used up fast. You will need to buy more storage.

This tablet is perfect for kids. Love the protection cover around the tablet! This would be great for adults too, I think that we are more clumsy than kids sometimes.

We had purchased a tablet at Christmas for our 2 year old, but it had no protection from drops. This tablet is great with the very thick protection that surrounds it.

Bought it for my two kids for the summer because they've been complaining how bored they were. Once they got it, they couldn't get enough of it. Worth the price.

My kids love it but it's too easy for them to get into the settings and change things. You will also need to get more memory.

Its ok little tablet for kids it definitely isnt the fastest to load games or videos but it does the job

I was in the store for something else, when I came across this tablet. I thought it would be great for the grandchildren to learn some basics to prepare for school.

Not overly impressed when we first got it it seemed to work well as soon as we had to warranty it the first time they continually send broken or not good quality one. I would just spend the extra money and get an iPad

I brought this for my nephew. I previously brought him a regular tablet which he destroyed. This tablet though is geared towards kids different age groups as well. He loves it and cant put it down!!! Good job Auntie!!!

the charge port in defective I had to return another Amazon - Fire Kids Edition - 7 Tablet - 8GB - Blue/Black last week

Tablet lags. Speed not so great. Has great apps included which my child luvs. Does not work so well with YouTube app.
