was looking for a tablet that was geared more towards kids but was more a tablet and not a toy. my 2 yr old daughter loves it... she plays on my iPad prior so learning the fire was easy for her.. pink cover makes it more child appealing.

We gave these to our three children for Christmas and they have been hit or miss. When they are working the kids love them. Unfortunately, apps that we have previously downloaded keep disappearing, the tablets keeps having issues reading the SD card where we have stored games and we are constantly having to reboot to see if our apps will magically be downloaded once again. We only have 3-4 apps downloaded and a 32gb SD card in each tablet so storage shouldn't be an issue. We've spent as much time talking to customer service trying to figure out the issues as we have playing them. Sadly, these are being sent back. Just not worth the frustration!

You have to delete files and apps everyday to use it. The limited usable storage is lousy. Make sure you find a 16 GB version and buy that.

I bought this for my daughter at Christmas , when I was trying to finish the installation online couldn't connect to the Internet, it show me a message that the memory is full and can't connect to the Internet and I have to buy memory chip , next day I went to Best Buy to return it and the guy there told me I can buy for 20 dollars memory chip and it will work, I did and went home and connected to the Internet and downloaded you tube but never worked , I have to restart the tablet every 2 or 3 minutes if it work, screen frozen most the time. My daughter decided to play with my phone instead her tablets, she try to use it for a day only and we decided to return it , I went to the store after 52 days to return it but I have been told they can't refund me the amount because one month passed but they will give me a credit, so I asked just to get a new one in case something wrong with that machine I bought , and I did get one and same things happened exactly . I will go tomorrow to return . Don't buy this machine , you can't do anything with it . When you buy something from Best Buy ask about return policy before you buy it.

We purchased two of these for our twin daughters for Christmas. The parental control is great but it limits the child on kid friendly websites that haven't been approved through Amazon. It's incredibly slow, which unfortunately my toddlers don't understand, they just want to play. It can be very complicated for a child to navigate due to all the apps; books; videos and preloaded apps merge together. I did read the reviews before I purchased these but, thought I would have a positive outcome. I will be returning these tomorrow.

Found this to be a good tablet for kids. Needs better instructions to set up and figure out how to get to games and other applications. Kid loves it.

I really liked this tablet . I bought it for my nephew who just turned 4. It had a lot of built in apps to keep him entertained . The bumper case was an added bonus because of the protection if he dropped it . I also like that If an adult wanted to use the tablet they could just by swapping modes in the settings .

The tablet works fine & the speeds are good for games. It would be nice if it had an anti-glare screen or auto-adjust brightness. There is no actual Youtube app; only an app that directs you to a mobile version of Youtube, and the videos do not play half of the time.

No kidding! A great gift for a 2 year old! I wasn't sure but its wonderful! She is really enjoying it and now her 3 yr old brother has some peace and can play with his 6"HD kindle! They switch back & forth to try out each others apps. The car is MUCH quieter on long trips. Its amazing that kids so young can use and enjoy these and they do!!!

We bought the Kindle Fire for it's ability to tailor it's programs to our 7 year olds age group. It is also storage expandable to 128GB with a microSD card. We have Amazon Prime and it made sense to get a tablet that would allow my child access to the vast amount of offerings from Amazon Prime. You can also manage your child's time on the device, make certain learning programs primary so they can't do anything unless those are completed first. There are also other Parental features that makes it a worthwhile choice. It has a nice clear, bright screen and a headphone jack for your child to watch or play without bothering others around them. I like this tablet and use it myself when my son doesn't have it, which isn't much and I like the features and abilities it offers. I would recommend this product to any parent or anyone who likes a good bargain. It is worth the money and has been great for our child.

He's able to log in to his profile to play all the games, watch videos and read books but the good thing I like about it is you can download them to the tablet so he can still use the apps outside of wifi. It also has a timer you can set on it for it to cut off daily and the child has to have your password to get back in

I bought this tablet for my little brother on Black Friday, and it is the worst! It is slow, it automatically disconnects from the WIFI although he is in the family room, and it freezes in multiple occasions. I seriously can't even with this thing. I should have bought a samsung or an iPad; but I guess since it they advertised it for kids it would be great, however, it is not. He can't download his favorite games or videos to it either. Don't buy it. There apps store is also poor on educational products.

For my God daughter, she loves it. The Pink squishy cushion is a life saver, it protects the kindle so well as she continually drops it. Keeps her entertained for long streches.

My 2 year old grandson will be flying to visit other family and my daughter in law was concerned as to how to keep him busy on the plane. I ordered this a month before their trip and he's already got it down and loves using it.

I bought this before a cross country road trip for our toddler. We loaded it with apps for her and a few movies. It's been perfect and the case is nice to keep it very protected from drops. We do need a screen protector though.

30 product for children 10 and under. It was drop multiple times but with the casing there was no damage and it was great for traveling... perfect size!

I bought this for my 2 year old. It works great and is way better than anything else I've tried even for my older kids. Thinking of switching out my 8 an 10 year olds' android tablets for this.
