At first I got frustrated trying to get this to work with all my gear but eventually figured out that it was working correctly despite the apparent errors I was getting in the setup process. I now enjoy the voice control and have set it up so that I can view my Ring doorbell and also a couple Alexa-compatible security cameras, though you can only view one at a time. I can also do all the things that I can do with the other Dots I have, including controlling smart plugs.

I installed this device at my parents house so they could stream tv and movies plus give them an Echo device to easily use using voice commands. They are really enjoying how easy it is to use. Now with this they actually have things they want to watch! They have been looking to get rid of there Directv for this reason. This device is perfect for there needs and the technology is something they can do fairly easily which is sometimes an issue for them.

Amazon cube is a great product as long as you don't refer to Alexa directly. If you do, she will wake up and try to do whatever you say. However, the cube is a great tool for both breaking the cable noose and accessing TONS of entertainment and information, much of it without cost. I could not recommend it more highly. Be advised: take me with a grain of salt. 1. I am not a techie. I'm too old for that. 2. I'm easily impressed. Still, this is was a great purchase.

This product is the the epitome of streaming! And Alexa has made laziness even more of a conveniece. This is an upgrade for me from an older version of Amazon's Fire Stick. The quality is amazing. I don't own a 4K smart TV. All my TVs simply have HDMI inputs and I have an Amazon Fire device in EVERY single one. A breeze to set up and a dream to use.

So many features. So easy to install and work with. The Alexa feature is great. Worth the money spent.

It a simple and easy to use, but have another one that I got before but the reason for buying this one is to go cable free at the house. With all the streaming services my family decided to cut the cable cord mainly because the prices were going up a lot. The reason why I say for the most part is because it doesn’t have YouTube TV app, there’s a work around and you can get it to work but it did take sometime. But all the other streaming apps work perfectly.

This fire cube by far is really great. Very fast, amazing resolution and works great having Alexa. Def recommend

My mom is having more trouble using multiple remotes (or even multiple remote functions) to watch movies on cable and on DVD. Movies are her principal evening entertainment, as she lives alone. A Best Buy employee suggested a voice-command activation, and the Fire Cube has been perfect. With only a slight learning curve, mom is self-sufficient with her entertainment center. (And she can ask Alexa the weather!)

Overall I am very happy with the performance and features and it was fast and easy to set-up.

The cube is great,enough memory eso I can download more. Easy to use.and setupwas a breeze.

i bought this as a up grade to my firestick it is the best investment i didn very good

We really like accessing Amazon prime movies, but trying to find things is cumbersome and some things are really difficult to do. Scanning forward or backwards is either really slow or extremely fast which frustrates my husband a lot as he likes to rewind parts he may have missed. The remote is very basic and could be improved. Why not include the upgraded one to begin with? If it weren't for Amazon prime, the rating would have been much lower.

Works good. Seems a great deal faster than a fire stick. I use kodi and exodus primarily and it works great. I have slow internet so I do not use the 4K part so I cannot vouch for its picture. The only thing is when my internet goes out occasionally it will flash orange the whole time and I have to unplug it. Also it made me link it to my amazon account to it I could not find anyway around it.

This new fire cube works great. Very handy, don’t need to use remotes near as much, which is nice for me since I have problems with my hands. Less remote controls to drop ha ha. Although I still need to figure out everything that it can do which I know was much more and I’m using it for at this time. It was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend it to others..

One of the best things I've ever bought at Best buy. Totally hands-free device a few exceptions here and there but so worth it. the key thing is once you know the correct command to use it does exactly what it was built for, like switching from channel to channel and what not. I give it 4 stars because if it was able to control your DVR settings like to record your favorite shows that would have been perfect but it does not unfortunately.

I bought this under the promotion for $79. I was expecting this to help me to use less all of the remotes I have. And I was also expecting to be a more rounding and better then previous models. Not so much. The good: - quality of the product is good. Picture quality too. - works very good within Amazon prime ecosystem - Better remote control with volume included. - Kind of neat that you can control several things with voice command. What still need work in my opinion:: - Wired connection is 10/100Mbps. If your internet is anything higher than 100Mbps it will not make any difference. Most likely 100Mbps is enough for now, but should be future proof. Roku has the same specs/issue by the way. Apple TV 4K has better ethernet wired connection with faster internet speed. - Sometime gets slow, not sure why. Take a while to respond to commands. So slow that I switch to Apple TV. - In a few occasions it starts to talk alone or perform actions that were not requested. - Performance wise not better than other Fire TV's I have (old models). Not bad but I was expecting much better. All in all, not bad but still not the best streaming device. I still find the Apple TV to be a better round solution and even better quality. I still recommend it, specially if you are a prime member and can get it under promotion.
