I have purchased this for the purpose of ditching most of the pay-for-play subscriptions that we were getting drained for and just going to the free stuff. The fire stick lets you download apps that many TV's won't support, so you can watch the stuff that you want without the constant drip of $15-29/mo from a bunch of subscription based services.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max

It supports Wi-Fi 6E, which makes streaming super smooth, even in 4K. I love the Ambient Experience feature that adds a nice visual touch when I’m not actively watching. The best part is having access to free and live TV without needing a cable or satellite subscription. It’s fast, responsive, and the picture quality is excellent. Highly recommended!
