Nice, lots of services remote is pretty smooth. Not perfect, (particularly the NBA app is hard to operate with the remote), but I like it, setup is simple and the games are a nice additional resource. I actually had purchased an app a long time ago for another purpose and was pleasantly surprised to learn that it would work on the fire stick.

I love the Amazon fire stick. So easy to hook up and use. Instant access to all the videos that you want to watch. Fits easily into any newer TV and within 5 minutes you will be online watching Amazon TV, Hulu plus, Netflix and many others.

My parents were shopping for a smart TV but I came across this item which pretty much converts there TV into a smart TV. Great value for the price does exactly what I needed to with access to apps that smart TVs are available with today.

Setup was super quick and simple. We love how it plugs in no different than a standard thumb drive so there's no wires or anything to place on the counter. For the money, I don't know of a better device to stream video services through.

I was looking for a good way to turn my non-smart tv into a device that could play apps like netflix and you tube. Already having a kindle fire, the fire stick was a better choice than the apple tv. Easy to use and set up on the tv.

I recently fulfilled my satelite contract and "went off the grid" by sticking with streaming services only. I did quite a bit of research on Fire Stick, Apple TV, Roku and Chromcast. I have been an Amazon Prime member for a couple of years so it made sense to start with a Fire Stick. I bought my Fire Stick on a Friday evening and planned to just move it from TV to TV around the house. This is easy to do and works great. By Sunday afternoon, I had purchased a second Fire Stick for the bedroom. For the money, this was a perfect solution to my desire to reduce the unbeleiveable fees charged by pay TV providers! I made my purchase online and drove to my nearest Best Buy to pick it up within an hour. I could not be more pleased with both Fire TV Sticks and would certainly recommend for streaming to your TV!!

We also own a Roku player, and found the Fire stick to be on par. Menu graphics are better than Roku, but a bit more confusing as they are heavily geared towards movies/shows offered on Amazon Prime. Even so, we still got all the same channels we get on Roku. Be aware that the stick does NOT work without the included power cord being plugged in (i.e. the HDMI connection does not supply power to the stick), so be sure to have an available plug nearby. Unit was very easy to set up, but will require an Amazon account in order to do so.

It's great for the price and has options to add apps like Kodi (formerly XBMC). Basically, it can become a media center for all your movie/tv needs. This device is pretty powerful in speed and options. It's definitely worth the $40!

From my experience I would recommend the Amazon Fire Sticks over the other manufacturers just because it's super user friendly and you can also sync it with your Amazon Online Account, it works great and streams perfect!!!!

I love this thing so small works great great picture great sound easy to install user-friendly kids can use it Parent lock on it you do need a good speed Internet though DSL doesn't work too well cable or FiOS much better

Excellent streaming device at a very reasonable cost. We purchased to have extra TV viewing options at the vacation home we stayed at in January(basic cable only). This device is also small enough to carry on our motorcycle trips.

I bought the FireTV Stick even though I have an HTPC and a Chromecast and I have to say it was worth it. It fills the gap between my HTPC and the chomecast. If I want to stream a movie from my phone, sometimes if the movie is too long the chromecast will not be able to load it, because the FireTV Stick has more memory and RAM it has no issues with it. The Fire Stick also does not require a separate device device to use it as it comes with a small remote. If you want an experience even closer to an HTPC you can pair a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to it, something which you can't do with the chromecast. The fire stick gives you 90% of a Nexus Player functionality at 30% of the cost. Would recommend to any one that has Amazon Prime solely for Amazon instant video streaming.

For the price it can't be beat. Better than Chromecast because it has a faster processor and comes with a remote, and is cheaper than Roku. All the big apps are supported and like anything Android you can side load if needed.

Its not what the fire stick can do..its what it can't.very easy to set up and smooth streaming out of the box. And if you really tech savy you can unlock the full pontetial of the stick. All and all very happy with purchase

Great, easy and inexpensive way to get connected to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime free streaming without the former hassel of a video gaming console. I also love how you can view your videos and photos uploaded to amazon cloud.

Overall the experience with the Fire Stick has been pretty good. I enjoy the menu and the ability to use the remote to pause / play and the ability to install apps directly to it instead of having to download them to my phone. In comparison to the Chromecast, however, it falls short in a few areas. The biggest would have to be the lack of any apps that are capable of playing my Ultraviolet library (Flixster only plays in SD...unacceptable). I can easily download VUDU to my phone or tablet and cast to my Chromecast without issue and it looks fantastic. My other complaints are minor and not likely to apply to everyone, so I won't list them all, but I was seriously unhappy with the fact that I could not use this in the location I was intending to due to the lack of an app to play my digital movie collection. In that regard it loses a lot of value for me.

This stick is amazing. It is so simple to to set up and to use. I use it mostly for Netflix, but there are many more apps to explore. It is the right price too. Tihs has been one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Installed the Fire Stick on an HD TV and also on an old TV with just an LCD type screen. Excellent picture. I have Amazon Prime as well as Netflix so there is a lot of options for watching TV. Easy to install and set up.
