Leather cover that ages quickly but in a good way

Fit and function is great but know that the leather cover will quickly look like it was dragged behind wild horses. Rustic is a great way to describe how quickly it becomes. Has zero impact on form and function just appearance. I got over it and actually like it now.

I love the color and the look of the leather panels on the front and the back--they seem very real, feel soft and great, and start realistically aging from the moment I got it. It fits perfectly, as you'd expect from an Amazon branded case. The magnet is tight and the Kindle starts up instantly when I open the case. What I don't like is that it's a little less comfortable than the less fancy and bulkier case I had on my last Kindle. The hard plastic edges don't feel great, it's not particularly comfortable in my hand, and the magnet is so strong that it takes to hands to open. And it's pretty pricey, though I guess not so bad if it's real leather--and it seems to be real or a very convincing fake.
