Great book reader. The paper white model is perfect and doesn't require the additional light like her old one had. They are very rugged and reliable.

I read more than 1/2 hr a day used to describe long battery life. Have to charge more often than my previous kindle. Touch screen is always popping up features when trying to turn page. Case turns on screen when opening, do not care for that.

This replaced my 2nd generation Kindle which died. So far, I like this one better.

I read the reviews, customer and professional, and knew what to look for and what to expect from the Paperwhite. I love the glare free surface. Near the bottom the lighting is a tad uneven. On the whole, I love this reader and have no problems with imperfections. I would gladly purchase another when this one wears out.

I've not had much time to use it because I have been out of the country and did not have it with me. It seems like it will be very worthwhile;

it lives up to the hype. i enjoy reading everything from books to comics on it . its like a real book and the battery does last long.

Didn't have wi-fi so I bought this with it built in. Soooo happy with it!! Cost was greater but so well worth it!

I purchased the Kindle, for a friend and I see how much she really enjoys it. This model has great resolution. The pages appear as if you are holding a paper book.

Since I enjoy my Kindle so much, I bought this one as a gift for my son. I have over 300 books on my device!

The Kindle Paperwhite is great because it operates off cell phone towers. It will connect you directly to the amazon books.

Have been a Kindle user for years and this new "paper white" Kindle is the closest to a book read experience. The convenient size makes it an easy travel buddy. Great device!

great way to read books and download without wifi!

I upgraded my kindle from a version purchased over 3 years ago. The improvements across the board were a real pleasure to use.

Just got this and did not realize I cannot use audio books because it has no speakers, my bad but you would think this costly product would have speakers.
