this is hands down the greatest tablet if u are an avid amazon user like me. i already had so much amazon content so it made it verrrry worth it. even if your not an amazon shopper it is still a good deceive to get. its got quite a bit of power under the hood as well for $199.

My wife bought me the kindle fire and since she knows how I am when it comes to protecting all my personal devices. She bought me. The standing case for my kindle and I'm so happy with it. It's not billion and it's simple love the product and recommend it.

I considered purchasing a less expensive knock off (about $20 less) but decided to bite the bullet and go for the dedicated Kindle case. Very glad I did. My Kindle Fire fits hand in glove with this case. It's slim, trim and eliminates the worry of damaging an unprotected unit, especially the glass screen. Some of the knock offs don't allow you to charge the unit while in the case, but no worries here. The 'leather' case feels a bit unnatural at 1st but I soon got used to it and it can easily be wiped off to remove greasy hand prints caused by sunscreen, potato chips, etc. I have a minor concern about the spine of the case not holding up (tearing) over the long term, but after a month of heavy use, so far so good. Spend the extra $20 vs. a knock off & you'll be glad you did...every time you pick your Kindle up

I bought this as a gift to my mom and she loves it. Its thin and stylish. Snaps right in and stays put. I really liked the fact that when you open it, the kindke "wakes up" without you having to turn it on. I think its expensive for what it is but overall a nice product.

I really like this product! It fits the kindle perfectly and even powers up the unit when the cover is opened. Simple to use and high quality.

I feel as though I got my money's worth out of this purchase for my nine year-old's Kindle Fire HD. It is masculine enough, provides excellent protection and the snap-in feature is fabulous.

This hard case is a bit more expensive than the soft ones but it really protects your Kindle better. I traveled with it and it fit easily into my purse with no hassle. I like the fact that it can open and make a stand so you can use the onboard keyboard with ease. I would recommend spending the extra cash because this item is well worth it!

This product is great for protecting your Kindle from scratches and most abuse. I love that it turns off my Kindle when I close it. It also is great when watching a movie because my keeps it standing at a good viewing angle.

I love this case! It fits my Kindle Fire HD perfectly, was easy to apply and tough enough for my needs, I love the fact that the Kindle shuts off when you close the case. THe mafnetic clsure really holds the case closed. I only wish that I had one for my original Kindle. My only suggestion would be to make a waterproof case for those clumsy folks like me.

The case is durable, easy to install, and very compact. I have had nothing but compliments on it durablility.

This is a great case that offers great protection and fits very tight. I love the fact that the screen automatically turns on and off when the flap is opened and closed. The stand works well on most surfaces. Sometimes it does slip off the stand. I was looking for a case that was not too bulky and this is the perfect case. The only drawback is that it does not stand on the portrait orientation and you cannot use the stand when it is plugged into the outlet.

The case is easy to install, close it up and the kindel shuts off the screen for battery save. protects the kindel whilemy 7 year old carries it around.

This cover is not bulky and does a great job of opening and closing securely. I'm confident the tablet is safe no matter where it is laying or stored.

Excellent case for kindle. I bought 2 of them for my 7 and 10 year olds kindle and its been a month and it has protected the kindle from damages.

I love holding my Kindle, and this case is the next-best thing to that. It is light, thin, and strong--perfect protection that is worth the price.

I had purchased a Gumdrop case for my son's Kindle FireHD however it was made for Kindle Fire (w/o the "HD"). Gumdrop cases have a tread pattern silicone back that looks really cool and feels good but there is no way to make the darned thing fit. So my husband and me went back to Best Buy and got his case and my son is very happy with it. That's really all that matters but I still like the Gumdrop cases better for looks. It's held up well. The Kindle snapped in at first and hasn't come loose (something I worried about). Our son likes the stand function and uses his Kindle daily. I am happy with this purchase, overall.

I bought this for my grandson and he absolutely loves it. I liked the price as well as its reputation and it being a quality product.

Well-designed and stylish, as well as being a solid and durable case to protect our Kindle! I wanted something that was going to offer solid protection, while not looking boxy or cheap. Mission accomplished...great case...very pleased, especially when so many out there. Plus, the magnetic close on the cover is very nice as well to keep it shut and "wakes up" the Kindle when opened. A+ all around.

Second case I have tried for my Kindle. This one provides all the protection needed and allows for easy viewing of movies, etc.
