The case was an excellent price, open box but in like-new condition. It protects the Kindle well, has a magnetic closure, has an odd way of folding but does fold to stand up landscape or portrait (vertically or horizontally). A small picture of how to fold but no written directions comes with the case. As it happens, the wrong size case arrived, but Best Buy exchanged it for the right size with no questions, fuss or extra cost.

Fits beautifully and is flawless in how it works. Not to mention it just looks awesome on my device.

We went shopping for a Kindle cover... and found this ideal cover at BestBuy. The clerk was very friendly and helpful... showed us a variety of covers... and then allowed us time to look at them.... try them on the Kindle and make a decision. We have been using it now for almost a month and are very happy with it. Thanks BestBuy.

This is a quite functional case for the Kindle Fire HDX. It folds as advertised and does keep the screen at a very good position for use. I think the biggest thing about it is that it does seem heavier than cases I have had in the past for other tablets/readers. It seems well constructed and I have had no issues with wear or failure (I was worried about where the plastic folds) yet. A good choice if you are not into fashion/political/self-expression statements. Those of us who just need a solid case to avoid damage? It will suit you just fine. It does seem a bit pricey for what it is, however, But, that seems to be true for any of the cases available.

This is the second case like this that I've had to buy. The first case the magnets never really stuck together well and trying to prop up the device was difficult. After a few months I bought a new case and this one's magnets seem to be adhering to each other much better.

I've learned from previous case purchases that it's no use to go cheap or generic if they don't fit very well. For the best protection, it's best to get the case specifically fitted to that particular device, it's cheaper than repairing damage. My cats will keep walking on my Fire when I set it down on a side table, but with the cover closed over the screen it's come out intact so far! The fold & stand feature is a little tricky to learn but does support the screen in a good position for reading horizontally (landscape perspective). It's OK for vertical (portrait perspective) but is less stable because it's a narrow surface.

This case is exactly what my brother needed to protect his Kindle. He also loves the Origami style it offers. It gives him the freedom to view his books, games, other apps, and movies while sitting or standing. I would recommend this device to a friend or family member.

It's good, but should be less expensive. Design is fine, but could be better and the price is a bit inflated. I bought it because I didn't have time to search further

I really like this case. All components of my Kindle are easily accessible. The folds are fun although a little difficult at first. Love the magnetic features. Holds everything in place with out the need for straps.

You're going to buy or you bought a Kindle Fire...now you have to protect it. It wouldn't of mattered how this cover folded up. All you need is something that keeps the Kindle firmly in place and something that can be propped up to make watching videos/movies more enjoyable - this does both. Is it worth $50 - probably not but its the only cover made for a Kindle I felt most confident about and that's that.

I reviewed this item on Amazon and was not impressed. However, I found that after buying from Best Buy, it has been a real delight to use. The soft covers turn the kindles off or on with the strap and that is not a good thing.

Found the Origami case for my Kindle Fire HDX7 on line and not in store. I wasn't sure if I would like it. The case fits really well and turns my Kindle on and off when opening and closing the case. great case for the price.

I used this as a case more than a stand. It was built very sturdy and survived at least one fall. It turns the Kindle on and off when opening and closing. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this item brand.

This was a bit pricey, but when we compared the few tablet covers that Best Buy had, it was clear that this one was the preferred one - better and sturdier than the other, cheaper models.

I like the product, it protects your Kindle well. Magnet cover when used for the stand isnt perfectly straight when sitting on surface. Other than that performs well.

I love this case. The ease of use, and the quick setup was awesome. It's on the pricey, but for me the easy access to the on and off button, and the volume button is terrific. I don't have to take it out of the case to turn it on. It does sometimes become dislodge from my kindle if it's dropped, but other than that I have no complaints. This case is awesome and I recommend it if you don't mind paying the high price for an awesome product.

I'm so glad I bought this product. I am able to download certain apps and use them. I recommend Adobe if you would like to transfer certain files from you computer to your Fire HDX.
