Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a good CPU. Got it running at 3.1ghz qith DDR3 ram 1300mhz stable at 29C degrees. Don't expect to be able to unlock the L3 cache on this chip, as the rumor states on the internet. THis is the propus version, and its physically not on the chip. Not bad for the price. All cores at 25% under heavy load, not bad.

Excellent budget quad core.

I have mine overclocked to 3 gigs with the stock heatsink and it runs cool, highest temp I've gotten it to is a cool 51° celsius. If your looking to make a computer and need the processing power of a quad core but you have a tight budget, this is the processor for you. Only downside is no L3 cache, but its still fast and runs everything i throw at it. Excellent budget quad core processor.
