    Best processor for the money

It’s pretty much the same processor as the 3600x with a worst cooler. If you’re getting an aftermarket cooler, get the 3600 over the 3600x. Best processor for the money especially those getting into gaming. I would probably recommend getting the new ryzen 5600 over this when it comes out

My son needed this for his computer to replace his older one. It works great and he is extremely happy with it. The delivery was fairly quick too (still don't quite understand how it gets shipped to my house a full 10 days before we could have picked it up at the store).

This processor replaced my Intel 5930K and the same core count, same OC speed but only a third of the price. Not only that it's faster than my old 5930K by 15-20% in most cases. Now it's not the processor I want as I'm waiting for the 5900X but it will do in the mean time.

This was the perfect step up from my FX-8350. Nearly the same price I got the 8350 for years ago, but the performance is above and beyond expectations. Of course, being that it's from mid-2019 and we're in mid-2020, it's going to have its limits, but those are few and far between in my experience.

I got a great overclock on my chip and it handles really good in muti threaded applications, and even gaming. Bf1 with my rx 5700 on competitive settings I'm getting 150fps at 1440p. The sub $200 cpu has come pretty far.

This processor, like the 2600 before it, is the new king of performance value in budget PC building. The higher single-core performance makes a significant difference in gaming, even coming from the 2600 myself. The included cooler won't win any awards, but will keep the processor cool enough in most builds.

Great CPU , easy to overclock with the AMD Ryzen Mater software, I was able to achieve 4.1 GHz with water cooling. The included stock cooler is not designed for massive overclocking. I would not buy the X version of this CPU rather buy this one and invest the extra money for better cooling.

Was a little worried about the actual speed that this processor would run. I was pleasantly surprised to find it would run stable at higher than the rated speed right out of the box. AMD has always been our choice when replacing or building PC’s. Never had a failure.

Still the value king for PC gaming. 6 cores for less than $200 will keep up with a 3080 GPU at 1440p gaming. This is the best budget gaming CPU on the market. Buy it and spend the rest of your budget on an amazing GPU. (You're gonna need it)

By far the best value cpu at the time I bought this. I upgraded from a 2600, and on paper there shouldn't have been much of a difference but there was a major difference noticed in performance.

This CPU has been great! I enjoy how it is powerful for a $300 CPU. I like how I can do other tasks while gaming. The CPU's stock cooler will barely be enough to overclock, but for anyone who wants a good CPU but doesn't want to break the bank, I 100% recommend this CPU!

Great CPU for the price. This is my first PC build and a friend told me to get a Ryzen 5 3600 which I have paired with a B450 Aorus elite motherboard. This processor has been fantastic, my desktop experience is smooth from using Firefox, doing schoolwork.

I play a lot of physics based open world games that require a powerful graphics card and processor to keep simulation speed at 1.0 and this chip doesn't let me down. It chews up anything Ive thrown at it and very easy to overclock.

An excellent processor with plenty of head room for overclocking and lots of processing power for some of the most demanding of tasks. I can stream and game at the same time without a hiccup. The included heat sink make this a must buy for a budget system.

Easily the best CPU value available on the market! This CPU does it all with low power consumption - handling heavy gaming and productivity tasks with ease. It’s easy to see why the RYZEN 5 3600 has been the #1 top seller in CPUs for quite some time!

A powerful CPU for the price point that is capable of running a lot of powerful PCs! Definitely the go to CPU right now for mid-range builds. Have had no problems with it so far and its pairing up really nicely with my GTX 1080 GPU. Highly recommended CPU

Don't let people tell to wait for the next generation of CPUs. The price to performance on this is amazing. Very fast, great for a b450 build. Would recommend over the 3600x just because they perform so similarly.
