Excellent CPU. As a gamer, I have yet to find anything that will cause a CPU bottleneck with this one installed. While I have always overclocked in the past, I did not overclock this one as there is no point (yet, at least) given its stock performance.

This processor has good single and multi threaded performance. Fast gaming performance than my Ryzen 1800x with close to the same Cinebench score even with 2 less cores. I have mine running 4.2 all core on 1.305 volts using a Kracken X62 aio. Great performance for the price.

I have this paired with my GTX 2070 Super and 16GB of corsair 3200 ram and absolutely no issues using it as a gaming PC mostly. The price to performance is absolutely great.

We had AMD FX4100 before then switched to i5, but with Ryzen CPUs we had to go back to AMD for our gaming PC. No disappoint at all, reviews were true. Gaming PC has to have an AMD processor. We are waiting fore new Graphic Card to benchmark the build.

Bought this upgrade for my computer. Was a drop in replacement for the older 2600. At the time of purchase, this processor was the best combination of price, performance, and heat efficiency on the market.

With all the shortages going on, this CPU was difficult to get, but it was worth it. Not as fast as the newer processors, but this one was all I need for my home multimedia center and some games. Now if I could only get my hands on a newer gpu.

Great CPU for the money. I was able to pick it up for $20 off MSRP with the birthday discount. I upgraded from an Intel 4790k and the responsiveness of the system is faster (that may be due to the bandwidth increase between DDR3 and DDR4).

Performance is great. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-9600K-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-3600/4031vs4040 For users who plan on buying a cpu that is a jack of all trades, consider ryzen 5 3600 or stepping up to 3700x if you need the 64 core performance increase.

It is working really well so far and has made the performance of my computer much better. Though if this is your first time using Ryzen you will need to get a new mother board as previous generations of AMD are not usually supported. Just something to keep in mind.

This thing is a beast. If your specs call for it, I don't think you really should be debating the purchase. Don't wait for a sale right now because these things sell out quick, I recommend just purchasing it whenever they come back in stock.

Had the ryzen 5 2600 hundred and this new one came out! So I gave my son that one and was happily surprised how much fast this one is. That went above and beyond again. A must upgrade. Thanks Bestbuy has been great!

Built a machine with my son for streaming / video editing. This guy does a great job. I can't speak to the cooling fan because I opted with a different cooler with RGB but from what I have heard the included fan does a fine job. Can't recommend the fan enough.

Performance on the 3600 is great and the stock cooler runs quiet and reasonably cool. You'll get slightly better performance out of an after market cooler --the CPU throttles when the temps get too high so even if you never see the CPU get too hot, it's doing that by slowing the chip down. All in all the 3600 is a great deal even with the 5600 out in the wild. The 3600 comes with a cooler and even at 2/3 the MSRP for just the 5600 chip you're getting a CPU that is much closer in % of the performance than 66%.

This processor was a great deal for the amount of power it provides. Used this in my first pc build and I'm happy I did. I've always had pc's with Intel chips so I was skeptical but the positive reviews helped make up my mind. No complaints from me.

No brainer for new builds! Performance keeps up with 9th gen i7 but you can pick up the CPU and a quality motherboard for less than the cost of an i7 by itself.
