This is my go to CPU when I am building a budget pc, if I cannot find a used R5 3600. It is almost identical in speed.

My 10 year old 8700 dies, had to replace the motherboard and CPU to something a little more modern. Was exactly the same speed, but utilized RAM much more smoothly.

awsome cpu, super fast, i was over to reach over clocks up to 4.7ghz with a asrock 450m pro plus r 2.0. however due to my fans, i stuck with 4.5, i got 32gb 3600mghz ram oced to 4200/2100 with a rx 5500 and this system is zippin everywhere, youll get just get a 5600x etc, this cpu can do the job and is a champ!

Purchased to build a cheap Minecraft/Roblox rig for my kid paired with a 5600xt. Works like a charm with good bang for the buck, plenty snappy enough for like gaming or basic workstation/productivity tasks. While it has a fairly small L3 cash the high core count and decent Zen 2 frequency makes up for it.

Ryzen always pulls through, I have been AMD since forever, and Ryzen fixed every flaw! I have never bought a Ryzen I was unhappy with. Bang for the buck. In all honesty I’m entry level so I Dont do all the extra bottleneck stuff etc.
