A Ryzen 5 2600 equivalent CPU for $79. If you're looking for the best budget gaming CPU overall, get the Ryzen 5 5600, as it's faster, and it has much more cache plus PCIe 4.0. If you're looking for the cheapest PCIe 4.0 CPU get a used Ryzen 5 3600 - the budget king of Ryzen. If you just want enough cores and threads to game, record, stream, and leave some tabs open, then get this. Pair it with an AMD RX 6600, RX6600 XT, or even a 6700 XT and you'll have a budget 1080p to 1440p gaming rig that makes sense. If you prefer an Nvidia GPU, the RTX 3060 12GB, or the RTX 3060Ti make the most sense but cost far more than the AMD equivalents for less performance. Put this CPU in an A520 or B450 motherboard for cheap, with 32GB of cheap DDR4 over 3200Mhz, with a cheap 2TB NVMe and you'll have one banging PC for CHEAP. Overall, even in my own testing it works great for a budget market offering. The downsides are the thing I noted it missing.

Bought this to make up for a PC I helped my friend with that ended up failing. This has been working great for him just like the 5600X I bought a couple years back has, and I haven't had any complaints from him since. Only thing I don't like is that the stock cooler doesn't use the standard mounting tabs that are preinstalled on boards, and it is a little wacky to get the screws to thread in.

Solid processor, upgraded from a first Gen Ryzen 7 and the improvement in speed was very noticeable. So far, so good; no issues with installation or use; and would recommend to anyone planning on using this for every day use.

Its response on startups, programs download and installs were great. Even with the setup that I have the performance is really great.

Excellent upgrade for my buddy's old Ryzen 2600 setup! If you're building a PC from scratch, go with the 7000 series or later, so your motherboard has a few generations of upgradability, but if you're already on AM4 and don't have much to spend, this is a good upgrade from the lower 1000 and 2000 series chips!

6 core, it smokes games and whatever else your doing, great processor for the price.

Bought this for my girlfriend’s PC build, she has been having such an awesome time with it. It delivers the power needed for games, especially does newer titles. If I ever decide to build another beginner friendly build, for sure going to get this chip again

this product was awesome, being new to computer and not knowing what to get or how to work it I watch a video on how to install this cpu and when I did it ran GREAT. I was able to record while roleplaying on gta5, I was also able to edit video's while watching videos.. It was great highly recommend for pc's

Ive been building pc's for myself and friends for years and ive always tend to use the same cpu for how great it works and the low budget point makes it even more enticing of a choice I use this cpu in my own pc and its been a tank for the last 6 years. For anyone looking for great preformance without spending there whole budget this cpu is perfect

Does everything I need it to do in a medium-build gaming pc. Paired with an RX580 it slaps at 1080p. Do yourself a favor and pick this up, especially if it's on sale!

For 90 bucks this was a huge upgrade from my old 2600X. I know there are better options for the AM4 socket but value wise this was a great pick
