Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Ryzen 5 5600X's performance, describing it as excellent value for its price and easy to install. Many highlight the processor's strong performance and smooth operation. While some users noted compatibility issues with older motherboards and power consumption concerns, these were less frequently mentioned than the positive feedback.

It was the best price-to-performance ratio that I could find at that time. This setup performs exceptionally well not only for gaming but also for everyday tasks like watching videos on YouTube and streaming content on Twitch. It really handles both types of activities with ease, making it a great choice for anyone looking to get the most value for their money.

Best budget AM4 Chip out there.

Arguably the best cost to value chip on the market right now. Paired with higher end cards and this thing performs well above its weight class.

    Quite an upgrade

For me, this has been quite an upgrade. The processor replaced an AMD Ryzen 2200g. With the same video card, frame rates improved and overall experience with the games it was running just got a lot better. For the price, it seems like the best performance per dollar.

This is just such good CPU. This just claps Intel's lower back, even 11 gen ones. AMD did a great job, this is the best bang for your buck CPU wise.

The CPU preforms great and came with a CPU cooler. If you do heavy CPU intensive gaming or want to overclock AT ALL, you really should look ay getting a better cooler. But if you run it at stock speeds and play games that are less CPU intensive (and probably more GPU intensive), the cooler it comes with is fine. The cooler is also pretty low profile so you should have no issues with it fitting in your case (unless you are building in an ultimate small form factor case). The CPU lives up to the hype and you can actually get it now. I would definitely recommend getting this if you are upgrading or are building a new system.

This a very fast processor and it works great for gaming. AMD hit it out of the park on this generation. The included cooler does work, but I run mine with a freezer 34 to keep it a little cooler. Great upgrade if you can find them in stock and your board has the necessary BIOS updates.

    The perfect gaming CPU

As far as I am concerned, this is the perfect CPU for a gaming PC. Sure, you could spend a lot more for a few more FPS, but that money would be better spent on buying a more powerful video card.

Great new CPU if you can get one. Really great performance for the price. Hits higher than it's price point and can take on some more expensive intel cpus. So far really happy as it's taken anything I can throw at it.

Still good cpu in 2023 when paired with good gpu

Still a decent processor in 2023 for 1080p 60hz or faster gaming when paired with a 20 series Nvidia RTX card or Amd 6000 series card. For gaming go with 16gb memory or more. Can also be counted on for productivity applications when needed, but wont win any awards in 2023. Stock Waith fan and heatsink descent, but gaming can yield 80c or higher. Aftermarket heatsink fan combo would be better but stock works in a pinch. Cpu can withstand about 90c before TJ max starts to take affect. Good cpu for descent gaming and basic productivity and video streaming when paired correctly with gpu.

    Great Midrange CPU

Solid mid range CPU that was a great upgrade for my son. He was running my prior i7 4780k and eventually that board died, and since the HW was so old I shopped around for something that would work but not be overly expensive. This was it. Ran cinebench with a dual EVGA AIO cooler that was on the i7 and while it's not the biggest radiator, it's enough to keep it from thermal throttling.

This cpu is awesome. I was lucky to be able to purchase this for my first pc build. I have it overclocked and it performs really well in pc games and for work. You will need an aftermarket cooler for overclocking. Any cheap cooler will work way better than the stock cooler

My brother has been wanting to build a PC. Got him this for his birthday, definitely made his day! It's a good CPU and perfect for someone on a budget (but probably not for someone on a tight budget) but wants good gaming performance.
