great value cpu. If you just wanna play game, 5600x is the best choice with good budget. I would recommend to use at least B450

Great value CPU. Works really well for gaming and can handle pretty much anything you throw at it.

If you have any current gen intel 10 gen cpu, save your money perform equally. This processor only saw higher FPS then a i5 10600k in CS:GO. My i7 10700k was a much better all around CPU and frequently go on sale for the same price if not $30 more at $300, $30 doesn’t seem like a lot. The i5 10600k is $230, if your just upgrading the CPU this was perfect just for gaming and light video editing.

As the title says it is true. Get real hot at 1440p, but does significantly better at 1080p, and a smaller monitor too helps with frames which means performance is better. So, its an outstanding option if you are playing competitively, and know what the professionals are playing compare ans contrast people, compare and contrast.

This is probably the second strongest APU right now in the market, maybe until AM4 or intel's next APU chips. I was able to play Madden 20 on 1080p, I don't remember if it was medium, low or high settings, and I was getting over 60 fps at times. This is more powerful than a gtx 1030 and a ryzen 7 3700x. Would I recommend this? If you're looking to game on low res. or just want a simple build without a big gpu, then yes.

Went to pick up a cpu cooler for my new PC build. Saw this on sale with a cooler included and a slight upgrade to the cpu I had as well for only a little bit more than the cooler I was looking at. Works great, runs games well

I run all ryzen in my house. I am an IT guy and was a fan of amd back in the day. at one point the could not touch intel, but now there cpus are legit, and I believe they're the best deal for the money. i have a 5600x,5800x,and 5800x3d. can't say enough about amd.

I needed an upgrade for my old gaming pc and this was probably the best option fit right into my b450 motherboard all it needed was a bios update. it feels like a new computer again. I gained well over 30 frames in all games over my old ryzen 1600x

Upgraded from a first gen Ryzen 5 1600 and couldn't be happier with the performance gains. I did not realize how throttled by GPU (AMD 5700 XT @ 144 hz 3440x1440) was performing. While I was able to push the limits of my monitor with my old processor, this stabilized my framerate in a lot of the modern games. Definitely worth the upgrade for the final gen on the AM4+ socket.
