If you have any current gen intel 10 gen cpu, save your money perform equally. This processor only saw higher FPS then a i5 10600k in CS:GO. My i7 10700k was a much better all around CPU and frequently go on sale for the same price if not $30 more at $300, $30 doesn’t seem like a lot. The i5 10600k is $230, if your just upgrading the CPU this was perfect just for gaming and light video editing.

This is probably the second strongest APU right now in the market, maybe until AM4 or intel's next APU chips. I was able to play Madden 20 on 1080p, I don't remember if it was medium, low or high settings, and I was getting over 60 fps at times. This is more powerful than a gtx 1030 and a ryzen 7 3700x. Would I recommend this? If you're looking to game on low res. or just want a simple build without a big gpu, then yes.

Great product, easy to configure. My 16 year old was over the moon with this purchase for improving his gaming experience.

I already have a GPU (RX 580) so I decided not to get the 5600G (which has a slightly lower clock speed). This is an excellent processor, it effectively tackles all processor-heavy games. If you DON'T have a GPU, do NOT get this processor. But if you do, this is a great pick.

Upgraded from a first gen Ryzen 5 1600 and couldn't be happier with the performance gains. I did not realize how throttled by GPU (AMD 5700 XT @ 144 hz 3440x1440) was performing. While I was able to push the limits of my monitor with my old processor, this stabilized my framerate in a lot of the modern games. Definitely worth the upgrade for the final gen on the AM4+ socket.

Great budget processor, but pay attention to temperatures under high workloads! Would recommend liquid cooling unit to go along with it! Otherwise, solid choice for most people that like to game, edit videos, etc. It seems to rival a lot of expensive processors on the market, so give it some consideration!

This is a great CPU! The included fan keeps the temps down and I am able to play any game on my PC.

Good running processor handles all tasks and games also came with the fan and thermal paste preinstalles.

Easy to install and set up. Fast and awesome graphics. Happy we made the switch from Intel.

I put my 5600x on an MSI B550-A Pro motherboard along with 32GB of PC3600 CL16 RAM and an RTX 3070 GPU. Gaming performance is excellent and I'm able to keep noise to a minimum by running fans at lower speeds since the CPU runs cool at load. The GPU was the loudest component but I was able to tame that by setting a fan curve with MSI Afterburner.

Excellent product. Got it while it was on sale and is definitely worth the purchase. Upgraded from a 2600 and the difference is staggering. The 5600x pairs greatly with my 3060ti.
