Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Ryzen 5 5600X's performance, describing it as excellent value for its price and easy to install. Many highlight the processor's strong performance and smooth operation. While some users noted compatibility issues with older motherboards and power consumption concerns, these were less frequently mentioned than the positive feedback.

Excellent product. Got it while it was on sale and is definitely worth the purchase. Upgraded from a 2600 and the difference is staggering. The 5600x pairs greatly with my 3060ti.

Great CPU for the money. Comes with a competent heat sink for basic use, but if you want something quieter or if you plan to overclock, you will want something more robust. AMD makes the best CPUs for the money these days. Honestly, you don't even need that qualifier, AMD makes THE BEST CPUs. Period.

The best CPU out there in the market for the price with no doubt! Thank to best buy I also was discounted a birthday % off. Love this store and will always purchase from them. CPU is currently paired with a 3060ti, pretty much runs everything you want to throw at it!

I used Intel CPU's for a very long time since AMD wasn't a good competitor for long while. Heard Ryzen was a game changer in the CPU scene and was skeptical for a while. When it came time to upgrade my CPU decided to give Ryzen a chance and let's just say, I'm very impressed. For this price point for a CPU, you get alot of power with 6 cores. Highly recommend it.

Excellent drop in upgrade to my AM4 system. The system was up and running in less than an hour. Much faster than the Ryzen 5 2400G it replaced. The free copy of Uncharted on Steam was the tipping point for me though. I had planned to get the game anyway so that made the cost of this upgrade an incredible deal.

Great CPU that can handle whatever I throw at it, mostly used for gaming though. It's great bang for your buck. The included wraith stealth cooler isn't the best though, it had my base cpu temps at 60+C which isn't terrible but a little too toasty for my comfort when not under load. The hyper evo 212 cooler dropped my temps by 12ish C for about 40$ so i'd reccomend a better cooler than what's included.

Runs most games great, can even handle Star Citizen on lower settings. If you don't want to shell out more for a Ryzen 7, this will still work fine for most 1080p gaming and some light 2k gaming when paired with a decent GPU.

I just upgraded from 1600 to this CPU and it is a beast when comparing with my old CPU. I use Asus Tuf Gaming X570 Plus Wifi and ran into a little issue with the BIOS. The motherboard had old BIOS version and I had to flash it to the latest in able to POST. I was looking for 5800x or 5900x but the price difference made me pick 5600. This is the new rig for my kid and she's happy.

This CPU is amazing. Runs pretty cool and runs games at full FPS when paired with a 30-series GPU. Ended up upgrading to a 5900x but that is because I wanted the extra cores for work related items, but for gaming and some mild workloads this is a fantastic choice!

5600X is a great cpu for gaming. Upgraded from a 1600 AF to this cpu and noticed a significant performance increase. Used to play Destiny 2 with a 2060 super at 90 fps at 1080p with the 1600 AF and switching to the 5600X fps increased to 120-130 fps. This CPU is the best bang for buck esepcially if its on sale.

Just finished a gaming pc build and this was at the heart of it. 6 cores and 12 threads is a great for gaming and productivity work. Would recommend a cooler change but not necessary. Great CPU.

Great processor. Fast and efficient. The newly released 5600 is less expensive and a better value. But if you can't find that this is minimally better.

The 5600x is the best performance/price combo of Zen3 and runs extremely cool. At 65w, you could even get away with a tiny air cooler. This makes it viable and optimal for an SFF build. It performs amazingly well too. If you are playing at 4k, it is unlikely you'll notice a real world difference between this and much more expensive CPUs.
