Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Ryzen 5 5600X's performance, describing it as excellent value for its price and easy to install. Many highlight the processor's strong performance and smooth operation. While some users noted compatibility issues with older motherboards and power consumption concerns, these were less frequently mentioned than the positive feedback.

Upgrading my wifes CPU with this is a game changer, literally, half the games she wanted to play on her 1600x were not possible, with this, coupled with her 2060 super everything she wants to play runs so smooth

Great processor can handle a heavy load and triple A games. This processor is great for my build. I built a PC recently for studio recording and pro production and chose this. I also use it to stream to twitch a edit videos. this thing is a beast when you overclock it.

Can't believe the performance boost I got. I came from a 2200g to a 5600x and it's great. And the silicone lottery was kind to me giving me well over advertised boost speeds. Mind it with an aftermarket tower cooler.

Used for gaming primarily at 1440p. Was able to undervolt and oc to get a cinebench r23 score of 11814 on multi core. Runs cod and bf 2042 without a hitch. Granted it’s paired with a 3080 and 32gb of 3200 ram cl16. Just know oc the cpu is a lil different. Do your research on curve optimizer, pbo and auto oc.

This cpu is great, coming from a ryzen 3 this thing has some serious power to it. It has drastically improved my fps, but if you want to get a little more out of it you’ll need a good cooler. Overall this cpu is great for a lot of titles, looking forward to keeping it for a while.

Put this in my b550 mobo with 3060 and everything runs so fast. No bottleneck, no stutter, just pure gaming perfection. This is the cpu you need for gaming. Am4 is still relevant.

Fantastic price to performance. Performs wonderfully in every game/benchmark I tested Only con is not with the processor itself, but rather the stock cooler. Not terrific but passable. 5/5 cpu for non ultra high end builds

Comes with a stock heatsink and fan which is basically useless to cool this. I haven't had any performance issues other than CPU stress tests which would probably bottleneck the entire 5 series. Plenty good for my everyday needs.

I'm glad I bought the processor with the cooling fan because it saves me a lot of hassle. Like all CPUs, you have to be extremely careful so you don't break a pin. It does it's job and it works well.

No issues so far, been using it for a while. It’s great and my pc runs fantastic with it, a huge upgrade from the previous cpu, would recommend as a more affordable option compared to other cpu’s in the market.

This is a fantastic CPU. Like all modern CPUs, it runs hot but the included cooler does the job. This uses the AM4 slot and AMD is moving away from that. AMD and Intel announced great new products in early 2022 which will probably make this processor obsolete, but it was a powerhouse for its time.

The Zen 3 CPU architecture is amazing and the jump from Ryzen 5 3600 is noticeable pair it with a 30 series or 6000 series and you can conquer any modern title. Hopefully you can snag it for retail like I did.

These last few months of getting new components and tech have been tough. Trying to search for pc components felt like a job. Lucky Bestbuy had a queue system and I finally made the cut. Overall not much to say about the 5600x which most people know from reviews and benchmarks. It's at affordable price and perform great in gaming. Just few fps off from $500 plus cpu in gaming benchmarks. If you are not needing the extra cores for multitasking or work loads. 5600x should be enough for a quite awhile, till am5 platform or whatever comes out later.

Temperatures are able to keep low while not being a bottleneck with an RTX 3060Ti. The included box cooler isn’t impressive and I used a Noctua instead. It has limited overclocking or undervolting. Power consumption would nearly double for on 2-300 MHz.

Incredible performance for a budget build. AMD cannot be beat right now. No need to spend 500 on the 5900x or even more for a 5950x. I plow through my 4K workflows on Adobe premiere and after effects with ease after coming from a 9th gen intel

Bought this for my new build. Super fast budget CPU for gamers. Like others may have mentioned, some motherboards require a BIOS update to support this CPU. I recommend getting a motherboard that has the flash button that doesn’t require a CPU to update. I paired this with the MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard and had no issues.
