Customers are saying

Customers are pleased with the Ryzen 5 5600X's performance, describing it as excellent value for its price and easy to install. Many highlight the processor's strong performance and smooth operation. While some users noted compatibility issues with older motherboards and power consumption concerns, these were less frequently mentioned than the positive feedback.

Saw this on sale and had to pick one up. Great processor, and for AMD great product line. Would definitely grab another without a second thought if that need ever comes around

Very powerful, it runs hot and, for an air-cooled system, probably needs to be undervolted for a lot of builds.

Good entry level CPU specifically for gaming. It runs games really well if paired with a good gpu. The tough thing about Ryzen 5000 series cards is figuring out how to update the bios on a motherboard. Good luck with that if you have no prior experience.

If you're fishing in cyber world, Ryzen will always be a honorable mention if not the go to when it comes to their product. If you're building, don't cheat yourself by not moving with this brand.

As someone coming from a Ryzen 5 2600, the speed improvement is very noticeable. Temperatures are good when paired with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition. Runs in the high 30s in light workloads and around 65 on long gaming sessions. Definitely worth the upgrade.

You might this think this is an entry level CPU but it is still highly performant and does not overheat as much as higher level CPUs that AMD offers. I can still play the latest games with the right GPU and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Great Cpu if you can get your hands on it. Definitely better if you are using it for multithreaded applications but AMD has come a LONG way in single application usage matching Intel or better.

Works great in 2024 if you are on a budget. Matched with the 3070 and still able to play most AAA games above 80fps on ultra settings.

Great product with a great price; Transaction was quick and convenient. Our family prefers purchasing at local stores even it might be a dollar or two more expensive than online stores as the purchase helps everyone in the neighborhood.

Ryzen 5000 series has a significant increase in single core performance from the 3000 series. This gives it a solid improvement to gaming FPS. Ryzen 5000 CPUs run best with faster RAM around ~3600MHz. (look into infinity fabric). Intel is the better value for this generation as I believe the 5600x and 5800x are priced a little too high. It does not help that AMD has announced the AM4 socket (the motherboard CPU compatibility) will be replaced with the next generation by an AM5 socket.

Best value gaming CPU and also actually the best gaming CPU in a lot of games. If this is in stock buy it! Make sure you can update your bios to support 5000 series or have a way to do so as your mobo likely won't support it out of the box (2020).

This cpu is prettu good for early games on a new pc, especially if you are looking to play the non-high title games, and if you pair this with Radeon RX 6600. Perfect
