Great CPU, if you're upgrading from a Ryzen 5 3600 just save your money. Don't even worry about the performance, you wont see much of a difference. Not worth the upgrade. At the same time it's not a bad cpu either. If you have the money, by all means go for it.

I almost bought the 5800x when it was on sale, but then remembered I'd also need to purchase a aftermarket cpu cooling solution so I opted to get this one instead. For gaming the performance is on par with the 5800x, so if gaming is all you want I say get it. I did have some issue with my cpu running hot in games. Up to 83C at times. While this is withing the specs per AMD it was warmer than i wanted and I ended up getting a AIO water cooler. Now I wish I'd just gotten the 5800x (on sale for $375 at the time) since I do run veritual machine from time to time.

I recently upgraded from a ryzen 3 4100 and everything is running great. This Cpu is amazing and still holds up in 2024.

I love this processor it’s a great improvement on my previous 3600 X however I did get scared when I put it in my motherboard and it wouldn’t process but my motherboard had a bios feature which really helped

Easy to install, hard to max out. I have games like Elden Ring and Halo Infinite on max, also thanks to the 3050 i have, and i have no heating issues. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Best bang for your buck. Its a solid cpu for its price.

This is really one of the most bang for the buck cpu you can get if you are a gamer or a light workload user. This can handle mostly anything you throw at it. The cooler is just a bonus if you don't plan on overclocking it much.

This CPU worked flawlessly out of the box exactly as expected. Make sure if your motherboard bios is fully updated prior to installing as some older AM4 motherboard bios versions don't support these newer versions of the processors.

Best buy has input good measures to allow real consumers to have a fair chance at buying high demand products. Very pleased with this purchase and will be pairing it with a 3080 XC3 Ultra in my Formd T1 for my personal rig

Pretty fast, much faster than a lot of others out there, crazy performance, amazing value, worth much more than priced.

Waited for newer cpus to come out to get this at a bargain price. My rtx 3070ti is not bottlenecked anymore just make sure to use a aftermarket cooler because she gets hot.

Amazing CPU, if you can find it in stock! Make sure you have a decent motherboard to really get the most out of this little beast (PBO, Power Curve Optimizer) but even with a cheap board at stock, this thing will scream!

Good CPU and the wraith stealth cooler looks really adorable on my desk. Felt a bit silly at first to have a deskfan connected to my PC but it's a quiet little fan that keeps my typing fingers nice and cold, watch out Mavis Beacon -- these sweaty sausages just got an upgrade.

Picked it up for a friend for their first build and overall they're loving it, came with a cooler, good performance, latest greatest budget CPU that's not so cheap in terms of price but it doesn't slack in performance.
