Budget builds and existing AM4 upgrades only

If you’re making a whole new build, avoid this CPU. Not because its bad, but because this is one of the last CPUs that will be supported on AM4. If you start your build with this, you’re setting yourself up for a whole system rebuild when you go upgrade. A bad choice in 2023 considering AM5 is maybe $100 more all told for a cpu, ram, and motherboard. If you’re upgrading an existing AM4 system, this is a good product at the right price. I’d maybe avoid this if its over $150 unless you just absolutely cannot spend the extra money on a 5800x3d.
