Very solid value for a 5000 series CPU. AMD is doing a killer job competing with Intel. The consumer wins here. For $300 US you can't go wrong here. Very happy with this processor, and may buy a 5900 if I have some extra money in a few months.

Beautiful performance, easy to install (ignoring some user errors), loads npcs, environments, etc like a champ, but my gaming needs arent demanding or intense, so this works perfectly for me! using this with a b550 gaming plus works just fine after updating the bios, very satisfied!

Works great for the whole month I've used it for. Does everything I throw at it well. It's a little pricey for six core, but the single core and gaming performance is very good, currently best in class. The multi core performance of the 5600x is close to the previous gen eight core cpu, the 3700x.

Handles amazingly with my desktop, a fast processor. I can run any tasks easily. I was on a budget and it is worth your buck.

Great CPU. Try and catch this thing on sale to save so money. You can build a decent budget system by pairing this with a b450 board (You will need to update the motherboard bios first before it will work!) and something like a 1080ti or 3060ti to get a ton of performance without spending too much.

Best bang for the buck in the lineup. Yes, more cores would be nice, but this thing does all core OC at 4.8Ghz for me which is amazing considering in games it's basically equal to a 5900x. Meanwhile the power consumption is far less so no where near the amount of heat a 5900x generates.

I love Ryzen processors. This specific one is quite a good deal when under $100. It's a solid performer and if you really wanted to later down the line you can upgrade it wjth a higher end Ryzen processor (AM4 specific ones).

It’s the best gaming pcu for a budget. It’s like maybe 10% behind a $500 cpu at the moment. Don’t follow the new stuff, get your money’s worth. Great for programming as well. Anything except maybe video coding professionally.

This was my first AMD processor and I've been more than happy with it. I replaced my previous Intel CPU with this and an Intel-based motherboard with one that would support this and I'm very pleased with the performance. Temps are good even with the stock fan. I have a better fan that I used with the Intel CPU, but haven't gotten around to getting the adapter needed. I'm still using a GeForce GTX 1080 with it and so far I'm very satisfied working in Adobe Creative Cloud Apps (even editing and rendering video), as well as 3D applications like Blender and ZBrush. Definitely meets my needs for any of the functions that are CPU intensive vs GPU.

Bought this a couple weeks ago , upgraded from a ryzen 2600 big upgrade had that for a couple of years 2-3 to be exact streamed played games then upgraded to this baby and it changed my gaming experience along with a new GPU popped up an extra 100+ frames.

It’s no secret this CPU is recommended over and over and over again, and for good reason. This is the best budget CPU you will find. Best in class for gaming in my opinion.

Wow! The power you get for the $$$$ with this 5600X at MSRP is just amazing. Can't go wrong for your PC build with this. Should handle just about anything you throw at it. I can game and stream at 2k no problem. I love it. I had a Ryzen 1800X for the LONGEST time before getting this and it beats it in every way.
